Hi Pinoy friends, question please especially to SINP, where are you planning to land or settle? Saskatoon or Regina? Which is better ba? I'm particularly checking which has more potential for construction jobs.

Also, can I still change what I initially put in the application? I initially said Regina, what if I change to Saskatoon, okay lang ba yun?

sa tingin ko po ay crime rate sa Saskatoon ay relative compared sa crime rate sa ibang city or province. So pag sinabi nila mataas ang crime rate, that is still low dahil Canada as a whole has very low crime rate. Wala nga daw nababalita sa news kasi wala naman ganap hehe.

Regina is the capital, though Saskatoon is bigger. So either po dun ay okay lang.

Regarding changing cities from Regina to Saskatoon is okay lang po. You were nominated by Saskatchewan and not Regina alone po. This is just part of your settlement plan, and plans can be changed anytime. It depends parin po san kayo agad makahanap ng work. Besides, Saskatoon and Regina is just an hour away po. Malala parin po traffic sa Edsa hehe Good luck po!

Natatakot din ako to do the landing ng winter time. Plan nmin in case is mid March next year or early April, pa-one year na kasi that time meds namin. At least patapos na ang winter.

yup SINP rin.. oo nga, magwiwinter na nun. baka mabigla din kayo sa lamig. ??? sa saskatoon ang nilagay ko na destination. wala din kami relatives dun e. pero from what I read, mas maganda daw sa saskatoon.

SINP din ako, wala ba problem kung mag-eexpire na yung nomination sa SINP this june 6 although on going na ang application as Permanent Residence. Need ba na inform ang SINP na mag eexpire na sa June 6 yung nomintaion ko sa kanila?

OO nakita ko din na mataas crime rate dun, pero syempre compare naman sa atin mas safe naman dun. hehehe. Ang ginagawa ko naghahanap ako ng mga tao sa linkedin na taga saskatoon, kinukontak ko sila at luckily nagrereply naman sila.

Sinasabi nila na maganda naman dun although small city nga lang daw yung place at kinda boring pero ok naman daw. Wala din ako kamag anak dun kasi mga relatives nasa Alberta.

Thanks chem14. I guess mag Saskatoon na rin kami as most of you are planning to land there. Yung close friend namin in calgary may friend sa saskatoon so baka makatulong somehow. And when you are all there na rin, keep in touch tayo

With regards sa nomination, I am not really sure. Mostly nababasa ko no need raw to extend nomination if under processing na ang application. But there is a thread na sinabi nila not to take the risk and inform the province daw by calling them about the expiration. Tapos may form na ifill up. I am not really sure. Seniors can give better input on this.

Yun nga worry ko about sa winter. Kaso medical will expire sa January and maghabol kami ng school. Ayaw naman namin agad agad alis kasi want to spend time muna sa Pinas.

My OINP nomination expired last April pero naging ok naman yung sa akin. Yung expiry date lang is when you have to submit the PR app.

Kababalik lang namin from vacation sa Pinas, and only yesterday lang nakapag submit ng passports namin at buti na lang pwede dito sa Canada - Riyadh Visa Office for Visa stamping at hindi na kailangan sa Abu Dhabi ipadala. Almost close na kami sa deadline ng submission.

May mga classmate din ako from college na nasa SK so I might need their outputs din. Sana matulungan din nila kami maka-land ng work when we get there.

Mas okay po dumating ng spring or summer. Mahirap po pag winter dadating po, mahirap po kumilos at maglalabas esp po if you're looking for a job po. My sister also suggested if we do get our PPR by end of this year (sana sana), summer parin daw po kami bumiyahe, para maka-explore explore the city and hindi din compelled magdala ng mashadong maraming gamit. Pag winter po kasi need magdala winter clothes, and if you buy winter clothes when you arrive, it would be very expensive na po. Good Luck po satin!

hi everyone, we got our SINP approved end of April and we just accepted it end of May kse naka bakasyon kami. Today, we got our ITA from CIC. We have until Aug 1 to submit our documents. btw, we are both working in SG. Question lang po kase di naman gets masyado, kelangan na ba namin kami kumuha ng NBI clearance at SG police certificate. kase sa for SG Police Certificate according to CIC website sabi "Yes, but only after you submit your application". And they will provide letter of request to CID. Yung sa NBI clearance ay nakapagpa-schedule na kami ng finger printing.
