Hello Everyone :)

I only had the chance to understand EE now and nag-iisip if I should pursue. I learned that I need to first have my education credentials assessed via ECA and have a language test results to be able to have a good chance for eligibility. With these, I hope you could help me understand the following items:
1. Is it advisable to do IELTS prep and exams on my own and not enroll with any review center?
2. Whats the best agency or organization to have my ECA?
1. Actually pwede DIY kasi dami nga naman online reviews lalo sa youtube. but for me, I prefer yung may class. Kasi yung writing and speaking, you need someone who will check your answers. I mean you need someone who will check the essays you wrote. So technically it simulates the exam itself sa mga review center. So I think mas okay parin ma-try mo ang classroom setting (esp pag first timer ka).

Hello guys, I just have a concern.. Anyone who applied here under common law partnership? Kasi my fiancé is already annulled, so technically he is single, sa EE profile and OINP application, commonlaw ang marital status na nilagay ko. May documents kaya na kelangan or hahanapin samin regarding that? Any advise? Thanks
may form na kailangan ipa-notarize for common law partnership.

* BC - if may job offer ka
* Ontario - if at least 400 points sa CRS
* PEI - good luck! parang random sila nagbibigay ng ITA from applicants' EOI

and of course: Saskatchewan! *woot woot*

Yes, visit http://www.google.com ;) . I'm serious, it's how I researched for PNPs as well, and also this forum.

Job offer only for NWT nomination.

Hi Guys, for those na nagland na. Most of the whole rental apartments kasi na nakikita ko is unfurnished so not sure if mas ok ba na padala ko mga bagay dito.

Also, if may things to follow ano yung essential things na ok ipadala?

Normally ba magkano ang pa-ship? Kasi may international mover ako kausap dito sa Singapore per container daw sila 20 feet container is 11000SGD, OA naman sa mahal.

Annpot,

In person or thru carrier? Pag ready na kunin, may option ba na in person or thru carrier lang din?

Hi Warquezho,

Deadline is before magexpire yung medical mo. Technically one year sya from the date of your medical.

Pumunta kami in person to handover the passport tapos self collection lang din. Mabilis lang, Friday binigay ko the following week ready na sya for pick-up.

yes, you have the option na ipadeliver, please check this link: http://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/Singapore/

1. It depends. But i think karamihan is DIY lang sa pagreview ng IELTS. Maraming available materials naman sa Youtube and by searching in google. I have IELTS reviewers and I can share it with you. Just PM me your email address.

2. Mine is WES
Thanks, Hanna! sent you a PM :)

Hello prcand! hehe.. medyo andun din ata ako sa overconfident e. yung friend ko na nakapag IELTS na for AU naman na PR, sabi nya talaga is magreview pa din ako. sabi ko sa kanya e feeling ko kasi kaya ko. kaso tingin ko feeling ko lang yun. hehe.. kaya I will probably do both. self review and yung classes na din. may work din kasi ako sa pinas kaya isisingit ko lang din sa sched. Thanks sa advice! :)

Sa case namin ng spouse ko, dahil may work kami we opted for the fast track review na 2weeks lang and self study pag may time. Hindi kami nagregret kasi iba talaga tips ng review center especially pagfirst time mo mag ielts. May format kasi silang hinahanap sa writing at yung speaking may technique pano sumagot

suggestion lang: if you do decide to take the ielts, bili ka nung official reviewer ng IELTS (latest). i find na yung mga contents sa reviewer are exactly the same format na hinahanap nila sa exams, lalo na yung writing. just keep on reviewing until you get the hang of it, dahil (i personally feel na) pareho lang talaga yung format ng reviewers compared to the exam - iniba lang yung content. nagpapahirap lang sa actual day ng exam ay yung pressure, perceived stress at yung lamig ng exam room. haha :D good luck!

share ko lang po tong story na i think related sa pagmove ng furniture from overseas. may family friend po kami na nagship ng furniture nila from the philippines (not sure how much was the cost, pero medyo mahal din). pagdating sa canada, nahold sa immigration. pinabalik ulit dahil may cockroaches daw yung sofa/shelves. so in the end, bumili na lang sila ng furniture in canada.

problema ko din po kung pano imove ang some stuff (e.g. books) to canada. a friend suggested na pag may magttravel sa canada, ipasabay na lang hahaha or magexcess baggage sa airline.
