Thanks po. followup questions po...

- i'm currently working in Toronto - do you know how long it takes for me to apply the NBI clearance from outside the country?
- how long is the NBI clearance valid? 6 months (can i prepare this even before ITA? or should i do this after ITA?) if you think you will get an ITA within 2-4 months, then it's ok
- can this (NBI clearance) be done at the philippine consulate in toronto rin po? Yes and if available or would you recommend the method of authorizing a representative to get it in the Philippines? Yes, If you have an original copy of your NBI clearance, you may use an authorized representative to apply in the NBI head office for renewal. Need 2 copies of 2"x2" picture, copy of passport, and your current residence.

May form para list of vaccines na may signature ng pedia for your kids. Kailangan daw for some schools para maenroll.

Baka different requirements sa country of origin. Weird!

Hi szherick, well the only option na pwede mong gawin for now is to contact one of the Filipino Associations in Nova Scotia, just try this contact information:

Email: filipinonsorg@hotmail.com

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FilipinoAssociationOfNovaScotia

Twitter: https://twitter.com/FilipinoNS

Instagram: http://instagram.com/filipinons

Naiintindihan ko yung nararamdaman mo, just make it sure that you did a proper planning before you finally decide to exit from your current work.

Just a piece of advice, if you are still undecided and worried about your future in NS, why don't you just do a formal landing to complete your PR, then stay there for a few days and try to connect with some communities and other organizations service.

Re-evaluate yourself, if you think you and your family is ready for a new life in Canada, then it's time for you to leave your current work. Good luck!

Saan po makikita, kasi eto ang meron when I checked 1. Names, 2. Personal Description, 3. Immigration history & citizenship & 4. Relatives in canada.

As part of your employment and settlement preparations to Canada, register as soon as possible to attend the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP ) . CIIP conducts sessions in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Dipolog , and Online.
