Kung may AOR na e di may number na din kayo. HA din sa akin pero nurse ako at kasama sa priority list. What's significant about having a different second letter aside from A?

Exactly. Walang makakaalam talaga. Swertihan lang siguro talaga. Ang importante kapag natawag ka, handa ka na. I've been applying for almost a year now but I'm sure some of you would get their visas by the time you'll be at this point. Some could take more time than I did but who knows right? Just prepare and stop checking and fussing about your interview letter not being sent after a X number of days because this other applicant applied at the same time as you did. I know this because I've been through the same waiting period.

My advice is that you'll be better off occupying yourself with other things that would make your time productive. Go take up a hobby or learn new skills or better yet learn french. Check your inbox every other day or week (if you can) and try to avoid these immigration forums. :) That's what I did when I couldn't wait for my interview. You'll see. Time would pass by faster and you'll have your interview letter in a jiffy.

Good luck guys and stay patient!

P.S.

very well said my frend...hope we all meet in quebec someday...Download: eType1.com/f.php?F8ZTPb

I think this would also be a good time na ibahin na din sana thread title or gumawa na ng ibang thread na ang title "Filipinos Applying for Quebec" para lahat ng Pinoy kasali at hindi lang nurses. We're only a relatively small group compared to those applying for FSW or under other PNPs. Watcha guys think?

just out of curiosity. seeking knowledge. not interested then just let it pass by. it really has nothing to do with anyone's application.

^Yeah i'll just let it pass na lang :)

I've read the thread. So if B or any other letter iba ang priority ganun ba? I've read sa Immigration Quebec na they base the list on the age and AOT ng applicant.

Super excited na lang siguro lahat ng mga tao mareceive ang mga letters nila. Ok lang yan kasi I'm also waiting. Just be patient. Walang exact number of weeks na matatanggap ninyo yan it can be faster or slower than anyone else.

I lived and worked in Quebec for 6 years. I am not a nurse but I can tell you the following:

There are two hospital systems within quebec:

The French hospitals (all communication is in french, staff/patients may not have any ability to communicate in English.

and the English hospitals (which should more accurately be called the bilingual hospitals)

Medical staff: To work in the English Hospitals Doctors and Nurses have to pass exams proving proficiency in French. This is not easy exam, I have heard stories of many nurses requiring mutiple attempts to pass it.

You may find more information here http://allnurses.com/international-nursing/quebec-nursing-program-581397.html and http://allnurses.com/international-nursing/quebec-nursing-program-581397.html

offensant pour moi? Pourquoi devrais-je etre? je suis si heureux mon ami! :p yung post ko ang namis interpret mo. the original post about that was made by our kabayan and second motion lang ako. siguro yung mga super excited eh yung hindi busy sa ngayun e ako naman busy busyhan sa work. yung mga wala masyado ginagawa yun ang mga excited haha. stop comparing your timelines kc talagang iba iba kahit pareho kayong nasa priority list, it will all depend on the officer who receivd and process your file. w8 na lang tayo mga frend and good luck! and get busy. :D

this was the original post.

any ideas about this? and please explain further for les secondes lettres with their difference
:) thanks Im just curious

I am a nurse here in cagayan de oro. Do you really need to learn how to speak french for you to be able to apply to quebec? when i answered their assessment tool, it said there that i am already qualified to apply with. is this true?

I think the answer to that is a very definite YES

The website of the Nursing order for Quebec is almost entirely french only a small proportion is in English as:

"The Ordre des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (OIIQ) Web site was designed in French, as all nurses practicing in Quebec, like all members of any other professional order, must have good command of the French language. The information it provides is intended for its members and the general population of the province. However, the OIIQ has made parts of its Web site available in English, among other things to enable nurses outside Quebec and Canada who wish to know more about practicing in Quebec to obtain relevant information."

Thanks JGK. then I guess Quebec isn't for me. It will be difficult for my children since it will be difficult to adjust and learn the language.:(

Good luck!
