Hi
I am in the similar situation. Applied on 4th Feb , AOR on 14th
Then no update. Linked with Gckey account and permanent tracker.
Why it is taking so long to receive any response
Hi, any update on your SA? I am getting frustrated especially seeing lots of applicants who submitted and received AOR after me move further in the process why mine is silent.

Yes, same letter for me!! The letter stated 3 things actually.
FYI - The letter was sent to my wife (sponsor) not me.

1 - "We are pleased to inform that you have met the federal eligibility requirements as a sponsor.".
2 - "The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."

3 - not a quote from the letter but the letter's main intent was to invite the Sponsor to apply for the Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ).

Oh I see, I got the letter since I am the sponsor.
Nowhere it was mentioned CSQ

They have only mention in the second paragraph where it says

Provincial Requirements for Residents of Quebec

You must enclose a copy of this correspondence with your undertaking application to MIDI.

I see the next step would be to Submit forms to MIDI.

Another question,
Is GCKey and PR Portal same thing?

On my PR Portal, the application still shows view.

if I need to log in for GCKey account, what do I need?

Thanks in advance.

Correct, they don't actually mention "CSQ" in their letter, but yes, this is your letter to apply for the CSQ, I have the same. You must print it and submit it with the rest of your CSQ application.

No, the portals are different.
1 - GCKEY Portal: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/account.html
2 - NEW PR family sponsorship application tracker: https://prt-srp.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/
3 - The portal that you applied for the PR: https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login

1 - I can't link my PR Application still.
2 - Works flawlessly for, and created both accounts for me and my wife.
3 - Status: Submitted | Action: View.

@mili_0923 try creating an account with 2.

Check my CSQ Letter and see if it looks like yours.

LMK if you have more questions! also, hope we get our CSQ soon...

No update so far. Only one ghost update sponsor approval eligibility is in progress. It's now around 40 days after receiving AOR. So frustrating. But we can't do anything. No SA and no Medical so far

Hi all. Please anyone with an idea of what could be going on with spousal application after receipt of AOR on April 28; Sponsor Approved April 28; Principal Applicant's file transferred to local VO May 4; Linked online account May 6, but nothing else since then (no biometrics and medical requests)? The application is Outlander originally submitted on Feb 15, 2022.

Keep checking the PA email on daily base. Sometimes Medical and Biometric has come in the following days. I have noticed that in several threads.

We applied on the same day, FEB15.
It's a good sign, they're working on your application, you just have to be patient now, and wait while they process it and give you updates/requests.
Just check your emails daily to make sure you're updated.

Do you know which VO your application was moved to?

Yes my VO is Accra, Ghana. Is it possible for them to send email without it also reflecting on the online account? I check the online account daily.

Yes, I believe I've seen it, always daily check both email and PR Tracker. That's what I do anyways.

Hello freddieMercury,

I have sent my application through the online portal https://prson-srpel.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/login and have also created my tracker access on https://prt-srp.apps.cic.gc.ca/en/.

My question is, should i also create an access to the GCKEY portal ?
As im able to follow my application through the tracker and via Email.

Thank you,

Thank you,
I'd say if you can link it on GCKEY, then Yes!
I actually can't link on GCKEY, So I'm following my application with the new Tracker and Email.
