July 15th? It is too early to worry :). You may not hear back for few months, especially if you already did your medical and biometrics. Look at the average processing times of your visa office.
I submitted my passport 9th July, now 29th July, pls tell me how long average processing time to get back passport?

The spreadsheet average says 29 days between passport received and COPR (or to be precise, a 29 day difference between the average passport received timing and the COPR timing)

Hello Everyone!
PA (primary applicant) MÉXICO, Son (12yrs old).
Application sent: Feb 3, 2019
Application received: Feb 13, 2019
AOR1: MAY 1, 2019
MR: MAY 1, 2019
SA:MAY 6, 2019
File transferred to CPC in Mississauga: May 6, 2019
Medical passed: (CAS updated to show receipt of medical results.) May 13, 2019
File transferred to VO in Mexico City: June 3, 2019
AOR2: CAS updated to show processing started by VO in Mexico City: June 19, 2019
BGC: ***I am sponsoring my son, who is 12yrs old, born outside of Canada, before I received my Canadian Citizenship** No BGC has been requested.
DM: ???
PPR: ???
COPR ISSUED: ???
LANDED: ???

I don´t mean to complain. I guess I got used to a lot of movement at first. Now, its been radio silent for the last month and a half. I had hoped that being such a straight forward case (Canadian parents, with a Mexican minor looking to move back to Canada), things would move along pretty quickly.

I´ve read in old post that the VO in Mexico City is very slow.

Do you know if this is still the case?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Best of luck to everyone!

Hi @Lee&Stacey

I noticed you have somewhat of a similar timeline to mine. Have you had any updates recently?

If you are both either British or sponsoring a British PA, I would be interested in this info too. My husband is British and we just called IRCC for an update to find out that our application is still in Sydney.

Hi

Yes I'm the PA and British. Do you think at this point if the application hasn't been transferred then it is definitely going to London?
In September I am going to go to Canada under dual intent but I would really like my application to be finalised by then.. kind of worrying.

The agent I spoke to was pretty vague. However, she did say that it was common for applications for British PAs to be held in Sydney until nearer the end of their process so as to not flood LVO. So it certainly sounded like ours was on route to LVO. I think we will likely do the same as you and have my husband enter Canada under dual intent.

Oh okay well I guess that's good and bad news. If transferred to London I am assuming it will be another few months before we get a decision.. never ending waiting.

Yeah, if transferred to London, I assume it will take all 12 months. Ugh.

I worry about entering under dual intent for some reason, even though I know it is a legit process. Are you both living in the UK at the moment?
