hi
try to be patient, and positive, your turn will come one day, send them webform maybe they will give you the answer you want...,check ecas every week, don't panic ,lately they processes files slow .and don't compare yourself to others .
From my personal experience, I think the volume of application from different provinces plus uniqueness of individual cases are contributory factors. I got my citizenship before all my friends in toronto. They applied last year october and november 2017 last year while I applied in february,2018 and took oath in October, 2018.
To be honest with you the processing time is 12 months but few people might be luckier thank others because of the volume of application from where they resides.
My PR and citizenship was fast and I figured it out that living in Manitoba or less density province somehow might be added advantage.

Don't worry it will come. Cheers

@jazv4

I am in same situation exactly like you.
In process since May 10. FP request - August 20.
Received GCMS notes. "Yellow tagged files"

Don't know what the hell that means.
I guess we are in the same boat. I guess we would have to wait. But I honestly think i wontbe seeing the decision made in 12 months.
Seeing the tracker most Brampton applications are always delayed

Hi guys, I am in Vancouver, BC and my test date is on November 20ish, and I am planning on flying out to India on February 8, 2019. I am kinda worried, that Christmas break is coming and with all the time this is taking, what are my options? Lets say if i get my citizenship certificate late January, can i still use Indian passport to travel to India or will I have to use my? I want to book the tickets soon or it'll cost me a pretty penny booking close to departure date. Please advise as to what my best option would be?

Thanks in advance.

Your PR card will be taken from you at the time of Citizenship ceremony and without the PR card you wont be able to enter Canada with Indian Passport.

Just did our oath today. Was a long journey to get here...and finally, we have realized our dream to be Canadian. Good luck to the rest of you.
