After trying and trying to check my application on E-Cas I was finally able to do it and I could see that my application changed to in process on May,2018. The reason why I was not able to log on Ecas was that they are now using my new last name and I was using my old last name when entering personal information. That was all about it. Now at least I know is in process. Please update.

Did my test and interview on September 10 but no letter to take oath yet.

Everything went well but was told could be until February 2019. Bummer lol

Hi All,

I have a question.
In my citizenship application i provided a copy of CELPIP test results as proof of English Proficiency.
I always had a digital copy and that is what i printed and sent with my application.

Now I am looking for the original copy and I cant find it. It is not where i thought it was.
And i need to present the original when i go for Citizenship Test.

In case i cannot find the original, can i use Canadian University transcript?
Even though that is not the method i chose to prove my proficiency in English in the citizenship application.
Just in case someone else is in this situation. They did not ask me for Originals of CELPIP or school transcripts.
i think they tell you to bring originals just in case there was something wrong with your application and they needed further proof from the originals.

Congratulations! Would you mind sharing your experience at the oath? As I’m also an Edmonton applicant and wanted to know that if we can take our family to the oath and also if the cameras can be taken inside or they have their own photographers and all that.
