Steler - if you could just put me back to normal on the spreadsheet until we know more, that'd be great.

Seems like flip flopping and freaking out and putting the cart in front of the horse wasn't too wise of a decision. I jump to conclusions way to quickly!

As of now, we're still on, just waiting for an email back from CPC Ottawa, and awaiting on my case notes. Either way, we most likely will be waiting it out in Canada and finishing this process.

Fingers crossed we get some good news, God knows I need it.

Rome answered my email with a standard response but they did give me my husbands file number for future reference so at least I know they received my file. Yay!

Awesome! I've emailed the moscow office last monday (last week). Still nothing. Apparently the Moscow office can take a month to answer!

No problem. Done

Hi,

Here is my timeline:
FAM
Visa office... Sao Paulo /Brazil de
App received.... FEB 20TH
AOR.... MAR 20TH

And I got a letter with a refund for an extra fee on March 25th.
I am REALLY concerned since I don't know why I haven't gotten anything on the approval yet.

I've already emailed them, but the only reply was the same AOR email. What should I do? What might have happened???

Tks and good luck to you all.

What did they write to you for the refund? Because there is a form that you fill out that says that if you are deemed ineligible they will refund you the PR fees (if you paid upfront) and they will withdraw your application. Did they tell you your application has been withdrawn? I would call the call centre to confirm...

It's not the case...it is just a $150 refund, I really paid an extra fee as if I had one more dependant..

That's great! I assume processing the refund is why you are a little behind. I would call the call centre and see what the holdup is...

That's what I mean! The time it took to issue the check, look into it, likely caused a delay in your sponsorship approval. It is possible that you have been already approved but you are just waiting for the letter. Did you check your eCAS? What does it say? If you call the call centre they will tell you if you have been approved already.

It says application received on Feb 20th.

I still believe it is unlikely for them to delay this much. 63 days!!!

There is no rhyme or reason with them. It took 86 days for me to get my SA (just got it yesterday). Hopefully you hear something soon.

Wow, 86 is a lot.

And why did you do your exams even before SA????

Yes it was a lot. Sorry...was the exams questions for me or someone else?

For you.

I am waiting for the application to go to Brazil, then my husband will do the exams

Doing the medicals upfront helps lessen possible delays in the 2nd half of processing. Honestly, I never anticipated a delay in the 1st half. We will see how things go. Only time will tell. :)
