How do you send money from Canada to your family? What are the options? and how much each costs? How long do they take? What do you think?

I send everything through Western Union. It is based on how much you send, the more you send the more it costs of course but basically around $10. they get it right away at a Western Union in their country. Also heard of Moneygram that you can send from the post office, never used that so I don't know about that one.

Well my application is back at the post office and should be received by CIC Mississauga on Wednesday, everything is in there this time and all completed. Woohoo, I am back in the game and raring to go! How long now until I get sponsorship approval is beyond me but hoping it is quick!

Does common law require divorce certificate if had a previous relation , or separation proof is good enough because I dont have divorce rather I am living separate for 5 years.

So I just checked my online status it now says 'in process' for step2. The nasty rumors kicking around on here regarding CPP-Ottawa 12 + processing times must be just that unless it now takes them 5 months to process step 2?

As you are around my time line I just wanted to share my progress with you and was wondering if you or indeed any Feb apps have had any positive feed back from Ottawa?

Really, well I guess that puts me back in my box, so to speak Well lets hope we all crossed the T's and dotted the I's on our apps to avoid any unecessary delays !
