I am tired of seeing "Application received" They received my PR app in Feb, do I count the months from feb or the day cic transferred the file to VO?

Last night I got an email from LA telling me that my file is almost complete and all I am missing is the medical. They said they are waiting to download the medical from Ottawa. I did my medical back in November 2011. What could be the hold up? So I guess I am pretty much done but I hope they get the medical soon. I'm worried that something is wrong since I've done it so long ago. I know I passed the medical part since I asked the doctor as he said I am good to go.

soonnnnnnnn...we are almost there....how do they select files to view, so random..someone who applied after me got their visa less than 3months , but someone who applied last year still waiting to some sort of response.

I emailed them so I HOPE they reply. I dont know what is going on but my meds should be received by now. To make matters worse, the doctor I did my medicals with is no longer doing Immigration exams.

Ok, that too! But when you take a box or two of applications from CPC-M and send them to CPC-O (to help out), do we really expect them to check with each other such that an application from this day is NOT approved before an application from that day? REALLY?? Do you really want to slow them down even further? Not to mention that not only is every "application" different, but I'm sure every "Immigration official" is different, AND every "VO office" is different. I'm not one for politics, but if you want THAT level of consistency, then you don't wish to live in a "free country" like Canada. And whoever says "life is fair" and I'll show you a liar!
