So I just checked my online status it now says 'in process' for step2. The nasty rumors kicking around on here regarding CPP-Ottawa 12 + processing times must be just that unless it now takes them 5 months to process step 2?

As you are around my time line I just wanted to share my progress with you and was wondering if you or indeed any Feb apps have had any positive feed back from Ottawa?

Nothing I am still in "application received"

I filed Feb 9th and went into process on August 23rd. Still nothing

I am just saying what I see on this site but most times from 2 weeks to 1 month

I just got off the phone with the call center. They told me my file was transferred from Ottawa to Los Angeles on September 7th. This wait is too long but I hope it's not too much longer. Anyone know what it means once it's transferred to LA from Ottawa?

Congratulations. According to the CIC website there is 10 months wait (including your sponsor's wait.)

OH my bad. For some reason I thought you were a recent applicant but you belong to February :-X so I don't know what that means.

Thanks!! but this isnt the end yet :/ It might still take another 2 months......I hope they hurry up!! Its been in Los Angeles for 18 days now so who know maybe I will get it soon or maybe they will take the full 10 months.

I did, my file went into process on August 23rd. BUt it doesnt say on my ECAS that my medicals were received so I dont know how much longer the wait will be.

My Ecas didnt change until August 27rd saying its in process and they received mine on Feb 9th. Be patient yours will change too!!

On a side note, I cannot believe that its been almost 8 months since I filed my application. Although it seems like its taking forever, the time seems to have disappeared. Weird feeling.

I am tired of seeing "Application received" They received my PR app in Feb, do I count the months from feb or the day cic transferred the file to VO?
