The FBI will be implementing a new option to electronically submit requests and receive responses for Identity History Summary Checks and Identity History Summary Challenges. The new eDO option will allow for faster processing of requests

Could this mean that Live Scan will be expanded to international audience ? Interesting interesting...Because honestly, I see NO reason why FBI would still take even at MOST a month to send us back our record using the electronic system. They do it for FBI channelers and based on their response time, thats 3-5 days. I hope Canada is well aware of this new change. Either way, I'll put it in a LOE that FBI updated their processing IF I detected that my new FBI record looks different using the electronic system.

I called the FBI's Customer care on Sep 20 , the person said they opened package received on July 7th and I again called yesterday , they said they have opened package received on July 10th.

Dear Members, I have seen this question quite a few times on this forum, but not getting much answers. I have received my FBI PCC on a friends USA address where as I am currently based in India. PCC is also showing USA address.

What I want to ask is : Does it matter if the address is US where as my location is India?
Should I mention this in LOE and provide an explanations ?

Experienced members please reply, if any one has done this let me know. Very few days left from the last date of submitting of my application.

i dont think that giving a US address matters. u just need to upload the fbi pcc. i have also given my brother's address for fbi pcc.

Hi I got it done from real scan biometric mulund and his number is 7021350278

I called FBI yesterday and they told me that they are opening packages from July 10. I submitted on August 15 so they asked me to call after 4 weeks.

Finally got mine yesterday! Here is my timeline.

Mailed (from US): 26 June.
Credit Card charged: 13 September
Package postmarked: 25 Sept
Arrived in Canada: 4 October

(Just in time for C-6 enactment!)

Does anybody have the e-mail address to contact them? It's looking highly unlikely that I'll get my PCC in time for the CIC deadline so I will have to show proof that I at least tried to contact them...
