Need help -
I forgot which credit card details I put on FBI payment card. One of my card got changed recently and old one is not working anymore.
My application reached on July 16, Please suggest what should I do.

If i Call them what all information I need to provide them so that they can check the application? If you could you please share their number, that would be great!

I had the same problem as you but glad i had it worked out... Everything has a solution!

Call FBi at 304-625-2000 and provide ur name, date of birth and address. Tell them ur problem and they will instruct u what to do. Or print the form for a new credit card payment and fax it to them.

Hi guys ,

Got my FBI report today . Here are my timelines .. Finger prints taken by professional on the card.

Application / courier reached FBI :- 25-Jun-2015
CC charged :- 09-Sep-2015
FBI processed report :- 11-Sep-2015
FBI mailed report on :- 15-Sep-2015
Report reached to me :- 19-Sep-2015

Here are my questions on the report :-

1) The report has one last paragraph " This Identify History Summary (IDHS) is provided pursuant to 28 CFR ......... soley for you to conduct a personal review and/or obtain a change ,correction ,or updating of your record . This iDHS is not provided for the purpose of licensing or employment or any other purpose encumerated in 28 CFR 20.33:"

Is this paragraph there in all you guys report also ?.

2)In the search result it is written "This doesnot preclude further criminal history at the state or local level " . Is this line written in you guys report also .... ? What does this mean ? do we need to apply for local state report also ?

3) There is also a line telling " The result of the above response is only effective for the date the submission was originally completed " .. is this line in all your report ?


One basic doubt , we need to order "Identity History Summary Request " report only right ? or any other report ? .

I am so worried , no time to take all pain again for 3 months ? someone please clarify my doubt s...

No need to worry... We all have the same thing on the paper.that is all what FBI needs! You only worry when it says that u had an arrest on that paper!

I have a question. I am an Indian Citizen and I have been living in USA from May 2015. I got an ITA to submit for Permanent Residency under FSW. I am planning to submit for PR by next week but I am confused that whether I need Police Clearance from FBI as it is not 6 months since I have been living in USA. Will CIC be asking me later to provide it? Please advice.

You still live in the US right? So they most probably will. Sometimes they ask for a PC even if you have not lived in a country for 6 months. I did not obtain one for the same reason and CIC requested it, and now my application is delayed by 3 months.

Thank you for your response nnik. Yes I am still living in USA. I am planning to submit my application for Permanent Residency without PC from FBI and apply for PC with FBI. Once I get PC from FBI or once CIC asks me to provide PC I will be sending them. Hopefully it works.

Thank you for your response nnik. Yes I am still living in USA. I am planning to submit my application for Permanent Residency without PC from FBI and apply for PC with FBI. Once I get PC from FBI or once CIC asks me to provide PC I will be sending them. Hopefully it works.

I have an urgent question
I got my ITA on the 18th and while checking on the requirements it appears I will need a US PCC as I have live more than 6 months about 15yrs back. I called FBI and was told the processing times are 11 to 15 weeks! This means I will miss the PR submission deadline of 17th Nov! What is the workaround for this? I cant afford to decline and wait for my PCC as I dont know if I will be invited again.
