FBI PCC

In case anyones following, I received my FBI report on Sep 14, 2015. My submission reached them on June 18, 2015. Even though my credit card was denied and I had sent a new one (they didn't ask, I knew my card was compromised/blocked and I pro actively sent them a new one), there was no delay. As for fingerprints, I had them taken electronically by a local US police station.

FBI processes June 26th. He/She sent it on 15th July.

Hello everyone,

My application reached FBI on June 22 and it went under processing on September 9 and till now it is under processing. I have called them and they have told me that the application is still under processing. They dont give me any update on whether fingerprints were accepted or rejected. Has anyone experienced this delay in the processing of the application ? Right now, they are processing June 26 applications.

I called on Sep 15 and was told that application was processed and mailed on Sep11. I haven't received it until now in US.

Here are my questions on the report :-

1) The report has one last paragraph " This Identify History Summary (IDHS) is provided pursuant to 28 CFR ......... soley for you to conduct a personal review and/or obtain a change ,correction ,or updating of your record . This iDHS is not provided for the purpose of licensing or employment or any other purpose encumerated in 28 CFR 20.33:"

Is this paragraph there in all you guys report also ?.

2)In the search result it is written "This doesnot preclude further criminal history at the state or local level " . Is this line written in you guys report also .... ? What does this mean ? do we need to apply for local state report also ?

3) There is also a line telling " The result of the above response is only effective for the date the submission was originally completed " .. is this line in all your report ?


One basic doubt , we need to order "Identity History Summary Request " report only right ? or any other report ? .

I am so worried , no time to take all pain again for 3 months ? someone please clarify my doubt s...

What ever you typed above is in my friends report too. It's common . CIC just need FBI report, you don't need to worry abt anything else.

It's is the only document which mentioned in CIC website as PCC for USA
