I am in the same situation but some members told me that the credit card charge does not automatically mean that fingerprints are accepted. They may be rejected even after the CC has been charged.

In my case, they reached fbi on 22.10 and cc charged on 09 January

Estimate Feb 15-th ... fju fju long wait.

I sent PCC with application (dated April 2014 - 5 months old) I don't know if they can request updated or they will accept the ones from April. I case I sent new fingerprints request to FBI again.

On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As a result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time anticipated processing time for an Identity History Summary is approximately 14-16 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery.



..... another update... processing time increased by a further 2 weeks!!!!

Thank you for sharing your experience and acceptng your mistakes in a detail so that we newbies can think before making them.
Appreciate your guts to accept your mistakes and publish them for others. It takes a lot of effort .

Hi,

I sent Minnesota state PCC, in place of FBI PCC and explained them that FBI Clearance will be delayed and if they can consider State PCC. The request and State PCC might have reached today and will let the group know if State PCC was okay to them.

Finally got my CC charged today, Application reached them on Oct 24th, took 12 weeks for FBI to charge Credit card. Phew...

@hoodrobin - Nope, NDVO didnt respond yet to State PCC, still they need FBI PCC as they have extended the timeline already. Wait is not going to get over....

finally I got my PPR today without the FBI report.. But I gave them state pcc and all the corresponds i had with FBI that they would take 12-14 weeks since i applied for fbi on nov 6th..
i already sent the fbi report from 2013 august so i requested them to consider my case and they actually did .. thanks to Allah ..

hope this info helps to someone who can also send a state pcc and request them nicely..

I have just sent my fingerprints to FBI. I am assuming it will take 14-16 weeks to receive the PCC.

Will the visa office give me extra time? How long do they give for the applicants in the similar case?

some forumists have mentionned that they have requested from the local CIO an extension of 60 days and it was agreed. No problem

Initially NDVO gave us 45 days for submission of FBI report, upon request, another 45 days extension was granted. Not sure about other VOs
