I called FBI in the evening and they were almost done with Oct 21 applications. My fingerprints were readable and report will be mailed by tomorrow. USPS mail usually takes 5-7 business days but due to bad weather in the east there might be delays.....

Why they never have accurate responses? At the same time they come up with several different answers. "sent over the weekend", "is yet to be sent", "was already sent", "sent aroung Fev 3". Just wanted to know the date it was really mailed out and expect the package to be arrived at correct date. I dunno if it was lost again or it is still within the time frame for USPS.

I got a reply from CPP:O regarding request of extension for FBI certificate.
I sent them an email on Jan 30th and got a reply today with an extension of 60 days; they mentioned they are aware of delay with FBI PCC

30th Jan --- You got a reply from Ottawa office inn 5 days that is good. I am not sure why our email is taking so long to reply with an extension

SAme here NDVO has not replied me yet. I sent two emails but no response yet.

I have called FBI this morning and they said the security process was not cleared yet for December, and the credit card will be charged when it is cleared Application is going to pass 8th week. I saw here some members got credit charged just after 4 weeks is that a worried sign ?if the finger prints are not good, would they charge on to the credit card ?

My FBI request arrived on October 6th and they said it was mailed out on January 27th. My address is in USA and still waiting for report to arrive. I called FBI & they asked me to call them 3 weeks from January 27th to consider it as lost application. Does anyone know what happens if it is lost? I'm still hoping to receive report in next few days but I can't wait for another 4 months if they ask me to apply again ???

I called FBI & they asked me to call them 3 weeks from January 27th to consider it as lost application. Does anyone know what happens if it is lost? I'm still hoping to receive report in next few days but I can't wait for another 4 months if they ask me to apply again ???

Dear friends,

Just called FBI. They are currently processing Oct 21 applications. I asked when should I expect my application (Oct 27) to be processed, the answer was couple of weeks not next week Also, I am not sure whether or not fingerprints are readable

I am in a fix now. I have to submit additional documents by Mar 15. Should I proceed with other documents and write a cover letter that FBI PCC would be sent later??? Or should I hang on till Mar first week??

Called on 29th Jan and they said it was processed and should be sent next week
Called this Monday, they said it was sent over the weekend
Received an e-mail today saying that it was mailed out "around" Feb 03, could be one day before or after.
The post address is within USA, actually 200miles from FBI office. This delay is driving me insane...in one second I thought I was done and we were good to go. Suddenly this black cloud got back over our heads.

I think they take up to 6 months old
