I have to submit documents along with FBI PCC by end of Feb. My cc was charged on Jan 14-2015. Will I be able to receive the report by mid of February? Please comment

Feeling really sad and sorry to hear about your case. Unfortunately there is no way you can expedite your case. Moreover you can only know whether your finger prints are accepted at the last stage.

I has suggested this before and saying it again.

Please take the help of professionals to take your prints
Provide multiple prints .

MOST IMPORTANT
Send one more application with new payment (money order / certified cheque ) with multiple set of finger prints after one or two weeks of your application

Just in case the first one gets rejected, you have the second application in line. It is not worth waiting for 14+ weeks at this stage.

She took her fingerprints at a US FINGERPRINTING AGENCY! What else one could do to ensure that her/his fingerprints get accepted?! Cut his hands and send them to the FBI?!! Even then I doubt the FBI could reject the hands themselves!!
& instead of sending multiple requests, one could just send multiple fingerprint cards with one request. I'd understand the urge to send multiple requests if a request is limited to 1 set of fingerprints, but that's not the case!

Did you make it payable to "The Treasury of the United States" or "Treasury of the United States"?

I don't think it would make a difference, at all!

Oct 27th Application received. Got record number from Customer care.
C.C Yet to charged and only after 2 weeks will come to know abt finger print status.
Fingers crossed !Hoping for the best.

Trust me, it's gonna be more than 2 weeks. Please be patient.
My app. was received on Oct. 6 and I don't know whether my fingerprints cards were accepted or not yet. Good luck!

Could you please tell me how you got record number ?

I need to send some prove to visa office that they received my application and are processing it ? Is it possible by email or I have to call ?

My application reached on 14 November , do u think they will give me such information ?

Send a status update inquiry at liaison at leo dot gov
Provide your name and mailing address
When they respond, forward the conversation to your case officer (i.e. VO)
That worked for me, should work for anyone else

Can anyone from India tell me how did they receive their PCC. Was it thru post or some courier ??

I am getting tensed as my letter was dispatched on 24th Dec and its third week now. Sadly these guys do not even give tracking number.

Someone who got pcc in india pls help which courier or postal service delivered it. :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\

I'm not from India but I can answer that!
reports are always send out via USPS first class mail. No tracking available. You should've a US address. Anyways, it usually takes 3 full weeks to reach India from the US. You'll receive your report soon. You can also find your local Indian post office & communicate with the delivery guy. You know what I'm talking about, right?! Good luck!

It doesn't matter when your CC was charged. What matters is when your request was received at the CJIS division. Give me the date and I may be able to speculate. Regards.

You guys, the rejection of DestinationCA fingerprints card is giving me hard times.
People are doing their best!! Taking fingerprints at a professional fingerprinting agency, taking multiple sets, & anxiously waiting for about 15 weeks only to find out that they have to go through this all over again?!
I checked the procedure of requesting a background check from Ohio, my state. They also require fingerprinting and on a special form that is not even available online! If my fingerprints get rejected by the FBI, what would be the f#$king point of requesting a state PCC?!
When you think about it, it's crazy!! The idea of having your file closed for something beyond your control!! After all what you've gone through. After all the investments you've put into this...
Let's pray - regardless of our religions - that no one gets her/his fingerprints rejected ever again...

We are on the same page. My frustration is reaching the highest level of all times...I have no words to describe how pissed I am for this waiting of 12, 13, 14 weeks or more. First request they simply "LOST" the report, we ordered again on 15th october expecting those insane 8 weeks which has rised to 10, 12 and now we are talking about 16 weeks. My deadline to submit this piece of paper to my LOCAL VO is 15th feb and I dont have even a clue if my wife's fingerprints were accepted. We sold everything, invested money we didnt have, kept ourselves at home during the last year to not waste our precious money, took several trips do Sao Paulo (6h driving) for exams, IELTS...oh IELTS, one month studying 2h a day and more than 500USD in online teachers to improve my speaking and writing. We make it. Lotsa of money spent with a consultant (that in the end of the day is doing nothing). Constant fights with family, not everyone agrees. Well, you are on the same boat as mine and know better than me what is like to be in a process like this...and before completing the last lap some american organization screws up with everything we fought for. That's insanely frustrating. I dont want even think about what is going to be if they reject the fingerprints and it causes us to lose the FSWP.

Well, sorry throwing up like this. Our app reached FBI on 15th Oct and at that time the lead time was 8-12 weeks. Now it's increased to 16. We are in the 13th week. Does anyone know the latest date they had shipped reports?

This is my second time applying for the FBI PCC.
First time, I applied at the same time of sending my app. to CIO - NS.
My fingerprints were rejected due to their low quality.
Then the report was requested by CPC Ottawa.
I took this very seriously!
I traveled 20,000 f#$king Kilometers in a round trip from Alexandria, Egypt to Toronto, ON and then back to Alexandria, Egypt for the sole purpose of using the services of a couple of professional fingerprinting agencies! Imagine spending 16 hundred dollars just to get the f#$king report!
Getting my fingerprints rejected once more was NOT an option for me. I had to make the hard decision.
I see people complaint about how expensive it is to use services of professional fingerprinting agencies IN THEIR HOME COUNTRY and I keep silent.
But inside, you feel like "if it's gonna work, just pay the goddamn money and get it over with!"
Imagine how frustrated I am right now to know that others took their fingerprints in the US and Canada and got them rejected as well! What an average person is supposed to do here?! Take them on Mars?! This is absolutely ridiculous!!

A quick search revealed that they provide ink fingerprints only.
Did you take only one set?!

@mohammed.morsy - Unfortunately one -) (he assured me that its good to go since they do it on a regular basis) Heading now to the local PD to take multiple prints. Doing the best I can...

Does anyone know what is the latest date please? Friends are posting the OPENING DATE and this information is not too much relevant as for those who have already been charged. In my case, Im 15th october applicant. Throughtout the time, their processing time has changed a lot and I dont know whether to consider the initial lead time when I applied or the 14-16 weeks stated now.
