I also applied in Nov. but early Nov. and just got mine back last week, so sit tight and they're most likely on the way. My card was charged on 12/29.

Hi Everyone,

I'm new here so am apologizing in advance if I ask something that's been dealt with before. After a few searches and cursory reading I couldn't find anything similar to my queries so am posting now.

So the thing is - I sent my application and fingerprints (from India) around late Nov '16 and my CC was charged $36 on 10-JAN-17 (In the request form I'd mentioned that I need 02 reports). Also, I've mentioned it on the form for the reports to be delivered to a local (US) address.

My queries are:
1) Since I was charged for the 2 copies of the report ($36) would it be wrong to assume that the prints/application was O.K. or should I still expect a 'reject' mail from them? I mean my assumption is based on the understanding that FBI would(should?) not charge for sending 02 copies writing 'application rejected - fingerprints not legible'. I may be wrong though. Any one in or has been the same boat?
It can be rejection for both. Because they will be checking your BOTH copies, hence they will defi charge you for both. And also, you can expect a rejection for both if prints are of poor quality.

2) The mail has not been delivered to the US address, yet. It'll be a month in a-couple-days - should I wait for a few more days or is it time to ring them? [They have a four-business-weeks est. timeline if I rem correctly but that's passed today]
You can call them and ask.

3) If I do call them how will I refer to my application? I mean - by Name? By D.O.B.? By CC number? I want to know how does the conversation play out?
Tell them which date it was delivered to them and then they can tell you status of those applications worked upon that day. I havent called anytime so cant answer this one concretely.

4) Is their 12-14 week timeline from the day the open the package or charge the CC (10 Jan '17) or the day they 'receive' the package (late Nov '16 my case)?
the day they 'receive' the package, I think.

P.S. You guys are doing a great job.

Best,

Country of residence is US..

Yes, you can go to nearest police station and request them for finger prints. Purpose if asked will be Canadian immigration.

PPC from Indian consulate, Dubai.

Dear Seniors,
I got PPC from Indian consulate, Dubai. This the following message can you explain what it means Ineligble ?

This is to certify that there is no adverse information in respect of Balaji holder of Indian passport no111111 issued at Dubai on 08/11/2009, which would render him ineligible for the grant of travel facilities including visa for Canada.

if you read full letter you will understand.

no adverse information was found that makes you ineligible. that means its clear PCC.

This is their style... scary... but don't worry it's positive ... I also read many times to understand.... I don't understand why they don't use simple words...

Hi guys. My FBI PCC application was delivered on December 14,2016 and got the PCC report on February 10,2017.

The question here is that the FBI PCC I got is black and white. Even the logo is printed in black. Is it normal??

Guys please reply those who have got their FBI PCC recently...

Can some one please update with the latest processing time for FBI verification ? I did some google search and found some websites (below) which claim to do it in less than 2 weeks, are these reliable ? If anyone has used these services before or can recommend other reliable ones please let me know.
