I called FBI yesterday evening and all 4 sets were unsuccessful. That was my third attempt. I did get my fingerprints taken again while I was in Singapore but FBI customer service suggested I contact SGVO and asked what is the alternative to pcc from FBI. I had raised a CSE and included state police clearance from MA and HI where I used to live. The only thing was missing was state police clearance from CA and they would require fingerprints for processing. No livescan services available in Malaysia and Singapore.

Good luck to everyone else who are waiting! Make sure to check that your fingerprints are clear when pressed onto the card and no smudging. However, if you have fine fingerprints like mine, go for livescan option or obtain state police clearance reports.
Usually it is better to go to Police Station and they will help you taking the prints on the document required for FBI processing. That is what my sister did

So Hariraj / others ,

I have sent my fingerprints taken through a professional (County Jail :-) ) .Taken two sets and sent to FBI last month
Still my CC is charged
Can I go and submit few more prints taken personally by me ( will print the form in a thick white sheet and take prints )?

Or should I call them first and check on the already provided prints?

Hi guys,

so I called about my FBI PC today, July 24th, 11am mountain time, and the lady said its being processed and I should call back on Tuesday to check for the status and confirmation they have mailed it to me.

Delivered on May 5th, 2015 to FBI.

Does anybody know which date is FBI processing right now? Has anyone called today?

They should be tired of canadians immigrant people jeje :P

Greetings!

Its up to how much you can spend and how much time you have left to submit pcc. Also its just multiple try to see if one gets accepted. So if you can spend some time and money and then i think you can send one to avoid delays later.

Also the last month's one will not be picked up till next month (at least 80 days). Now the gap is rising from 74 days to 80+ days to check if the prints are accepted.

So I will send self taken prints this time .. again should I make CC payment or I can tell them these are extra prints and keep them into my old file?

Separate payment with separate application.

omg , leave money , I am so tired of all these Canada stuff. hufffff.

ok , will do again . I don't want to go to jail to take prints this time . I will do by myself hari sir please help if I have doubts .

1) I will take a thick white sheet ( stronger than A4) , print the finger print form in that .
2)Take an inkless pad( donno what is that , need to google ) and take prints and roll over the paper .

Better go with experts when sending fingerprints..

Try purchasing the "Lee Inkless fingerprints pad" I got mine from an online retailer store ... I took my own prints because in the country I live in is literally impossible to get your fingerprints taken by a professional. I printed the FBI form in good quality paper but nothing too fancy just regular paper and my spouse helped me rolled my fingers (I recommend you find somebody to help you with this part)... we watched a youtube video that was pretty helpful too and it work wonderfully! My fingerprints were clear and crisp and they were accepted by the FBI at once! :D

Good luck!

My prints (RCMP) were processed and my credit card has been charged.
Im calling on Monday to find out results.
I also have another letter with other private fingerprinting company to be opened in about a week if these prints are not ok.
Hope they are.
We ll see on Monday.
I ll keep you posted.

Thanks Hari for your suggestions. One of the officers I spoke to before suggested getting a ridge builder. As a last resort, I may have to visit US again to get a live scan fingerprints from a private company. Hopefully the officers in SGVO will consider my state pcc. Good luck everyone!

This time if possible send like below. Dont again rely on only one type of prints just because the other types were rejected earlier. what do you say. If I were you then i would do like below.
Take self prints (4 at least) from inkless pad and also with regular stamp pad (4 at least) (also buy ink one from US only when you order the inkless one) . There are few youtube videos on it which will help - i referred them.
Also take prints from same headquarters (4 of them) and also (if available) 2 sets from any other private/public agency/some individual who help taking prints other than that headquarters.

I dont want to confuse you but i am not sure if the agents at FBI processes each and every fingerprint cards to check if each one of them fails before they issue rejection letter. So i even think that you can try sending multiple applications for each type on the same day (in a gap of 1-2 days) in different pack. I dont know how else we can make this time accepted. Frankly i sent many applications so that at least one will get accepted even though i spent more than 300-400$ : 1-May(both of us - self taken prints - 2 each), 7-May(both - police station ones - 2 each), 14-May(both - scanned ones - 4 each), 20-May (only mine - scanned ones - 5), 19-Jun (both - scanned ones - 5 each). It sounds crazy but we have get through somehow.

Team, Any ideas on how to make it work this time?
