Thanks harrysaini. I applied through a consultant. only he can request for extension right? I am planning to send my Indian pcc ,medical receipt and rprf receipt before the deadline (july 25). Usually how many days extension will Ottawa visa office give? Please help.

Does not matter you can send them an email asking for an extension as the FBI PCC is going to take time ..they generally give you a 30 day extension and if you need more you need to send them another mail when the time period is coming to the end..

Hi Friends,
My credit card was charged today .. does it mean my fingerprints have been accepted or is there still a chance of my fingerprints being rejected ?? How many days it take from hereon ? and how do I know if my request is being proccessed or rejected?

You have to wait for 3-4 days ..you can call the FBI office and they will let you know that if the PCC is processed it means the fingerprints were good otherwise it will be rejected then you have to do the whole process again !!

Just got off the phone with the FBI call center. Me and my wife's PCC have been done and mailed to us .the fingerprints were good ..

Sent : 10th march

Mailed out : 29th May

best of luck to everyone else waiting for their PCC ..

Congratulations on getting your PCC and thanks for constantly updating the processing status from FBI over the last days.

My 3rd attempt was submitted on 20th March, so it is still 10 more days I guess. Just received another extension for 1 more month from CIC.

Regards

How do you get extensions??

I am not sure ..you have to keep on checking with the FBI office for the timeframe ..it could be earlier or it could be late ..

Does anyone know if FBI answers email inquiries re application? I need a proof to submit to the VO that it is being processed. Or can i just furnish the VO a copy of my waybill and tracking results?

Hello,

can anyone provide me FBI email for inquiry ?

FBI fingerprints Applied : March 20
Called them June 2, they confirmed they received my application, but the Current processing files date March 17. So, i have to wait another couple of days to know if my finger prints accepted.

Hi Members

Can someone please indicate what is the difference between "opening packets" and "processing"? Also what is the significance of each of these?

Like is the credit card charged the day the packets are opened and the actual check carried out on the day of processing?

Thanks

Karan

PCC application receive date was 18th March.
My cc was charged on 2nd June. When is a good time to check with them if the fingerprints were accepted?
What is the response time line on email, or is calling the best method?

As per the last update your application would be processed by the end of day today ..
Calling them would be best as they can let you know if the finger prints were accepted or not and the status of your request
