Fast Work permit and PR renewal?

in Canada,I applied for citizenship 2 months ago, my PR. is about to expire in 1 month..what to do to get PR renewal or work permit as soon as possible to avoid lay-off? Thanks

Since you applied for Canadian Citizenship, I am assuming that you are in Canada and meet Residency Obligation. If your PR card is expiring then you can get it renewed within 1-2 months. PR card expiration has no bearing on your PR status. PR card is just an ID card for travel in and out of Canada. You do not need work permit as you already have a PR.
