If you haven't applied yet, you have to take the IELTS before applying. Only after you apply will you get the file number from CIC.

Thanks buddy, application already filed in May, 2010, however, waiting for CC charge and file number. if IELTS result date is earlier than application approve date, will it be acceptable?

yes. it should be fine as long as you claimed 67 points (i think). Make sure you get the required points.

Why are you waiting to take IELTS? Are you waiting until they ask you for documents? What do you plan to do if you can't get 16 points? In my opinion, you should take IELTS now and see if you can get 16 points. If you don't, you still have time to prepare better and take it again.

Thanks Maanties and Leon for your precious advises.

hi i am new to this forum and i wanted to inquire something for my friend
how long a wait is there between the medical and interview?

Dear All.

I am planning to go for fast track , though i have old file in process since 2006 .

I have gone through check list of new delhi. They mentioned that all trancripts need to be original ?

Is it necessary to send them original mark sheets ? or we can send them certified copies ? Also want to know that all documents need to send to CIO & New Delhi office both ? or only send to CIO ?

Please help me out of this situtation .

Mayank

I have sent my application to CIO along with all the required documents as per new rules and which was as per website of Fedex was delivered to CIO on 18-8-2010.

But I have not received any response for delivery of my application to CIO by CIO even after passage of at least 14 days.
Is there any one who have submitted his application after 26-06-2010 and also have received any response for delivery of application from CIO.

Is there any other way to confirm that my application is under process in CIO.

Hi nursemich ,
You must land in Canada before the expiry date of the visa, which appears on your Canada Immigration Visa. Usually, the expiry date is one year from the time medical examinations were completed. As this is not always the case, be sure to verify the expiry date as soon as you receive your Canada Immigration Visa.

Hi,
A friend of mine is applying under the new instruction June 26, she wants to know to what extent the job description in the contract and reference letter must be similar to what is stated under NOC description. In other words, if she’s decided to choose 1122 code, should the job title be exactly what is stated on the website or the job title can be a combination of two job titles?
Thanks
