my case history:

I have started on NOV 2009. Received the rejection email on Jan 2012. Appealed to reopen my case, sent couple of emails but didn't get any reply, then sent an email to Minister Immigration on May, She has forwarded it to first secretary and assigned a new VO for my case. New VO has replied within 7 days and asked for Updated forms, PCC, POF n 3 copies of pic. I have received my Med n RPRF request (dated 14th Jun) on 10th of Jul. Done my med 2 days back which will be sent by doctor by tomorrow. I'll send my RPRF within 2-3 days. Please pray for my PPR.

I hope you'll receive a good news soon.

Hi unmarried, sunasir, PA5510N, congratulations. I expect your feelings both after refusal and success of yr appeals as the same happened to me, can u inform us what was the VO rejected u and what was the merciful one? On what point they rejected?

It means that your medical results have been received by Ottawa.

You wait until you hear from the visa office, but for economic classes, usually this is a positive indicator that you are near the end of the process. The next step should be to receive the passport request so they can issue the COPR and/or visa.

As I mentioned, applied in mid 2009.refusal in jan 12,reopened in Feb with additional documents req.and got wait letter in May 12.

By the Grace of Almighty Allah ....i have got updated docs request today...they ask me to send updated Uk PCC only. RPRF, Some updated forms also new pictures of MY daughter only

Hi Maaties, absolutely; I've been refused and became :-X :'(as the VO gave only 20 points for my Bachelor im Medicine although I've submitted my postgraduate degree certificate when I informed them they gave 25 then my points became 70,then :-* :-*

they only evaluated one university degree 20 points,

congrats. Hope you'll get your medical request soon. VO asked for same kind of documents to me. I have received my medical & RPRF request within 60 days after sending additional documents.

I have sent my medical & RPRF on 15th Jul. How long it might take to get a reply from CHC?

Like everything in immigration, there are never guarantees, but usually it would be within 2-3 months.
