Hi, I am in desperate need of advice. I am a PR and located in Canada. My wife (who is not a PR, married her after I became PR by years, she is not in Canada) had applied to express entry. As currently am under social assistance due to COVID-19 pandemic which is a reason that I cant start her sponsorship application. She is a french speaking language and we are sure that she will be able to receive extra points. In the EE, should she state that I am accompanying her to Canada, or should she state that I am accompanying her to Canada since am already here? I am already in Canada and currently I don't know what we can answer. Any advice will be highly appreciated.

Well, I am not 100% of this but she can mention that she is married and you are NOT accompanying because you are already a PR of Canada. I would recommend that you ask around and find someone who was in a similar situation and they would be able to guide you.

Query Reg Ref letter

My last employer HR refused to issue Ref Letter.
But one of senior colleague in that last company agreed to issue me Ref letter on company letter head and will attach his employee card along with letter head.

Will this Ref letter by senior colleague on letter head be accepted by IRCC?
(means both refusal from HR and ref letter would be attached during document submission)

This should be fine IMO.

Hello, I worked as a freelancer and I don't have enough documents to record this work experience, but I have the points to support my CRS score from other jobs which I can provide the letters, is it okay to keep my freelance work on Personal History and not include it on Work Experience section?

This is perfectly fine. For work and education history sections, only add items that you are claiming points for.

If I have submitted my application to IQES/CES, do i have to wait till i get my certification from there before i apply in the pool? Or can i do it concurrently with the best case assumption

You must have your ECA reference number and IELTS TRF number before you can create your EE profile.

1. Under the education history section, should we update just the highest degree/diploma, or should we also update school, higher secondary details too?
2. My work history consists of Business Development as well as Business Strategy in the same organization. Not able to find the best suitable NOC. Suggestions?
3. After receiving ITA, apart from submitting the ECA, should we submit any other transcripts of our education?

Hi Friends,

A couple of basic doubts I have on reference letters are below. Please help to get clarification.

1. I Do have 15 Years of Foreign Experience. One year of Canadian Experience. If we Get ITA, How many years of reference Letters we Need to show. Is it all 15 years one Or the Last 6 Years or the Last 10 Years?
2. DO we need to show the compensation details on the reference letters? If for some reason, if they don't present or the employer refuse to add them to the reference letter, What are other options Like Payslips or Tax forms (form16 or T4, etc)? Do we need to get Payslips or some form of compensation details of all previous experience (15 or 10 years)?

As far as I know, we need to enter The Education details which we are certifying as part of ECA. For example, if you are validating your Degree AND/OR Post Graduation, then you need to mention those education details in EE profile.

Apart from ECA, we don't need to provide any other transcripts until you have other Trade licence or other education-related licences.

Expert members or experienced members might provide more clarity on your questions.

Hello everyone. I want to make it concise.
My husband is in canada since January 2018, we got married in January 2019.
1) we applied for visitvisa(to celebrate honeymoon) in May 2019 and got rejected.
Reason: country ties, not enough opportunities in country for me to come back.

my husband started working since March 2020.
2) we applied for Spousal open Work permit in May 2020 and got refusal in Dec 2020.
Reason: job NOC not clear (As we didn’t provide roles and responsibilities) and proof of relationship ( no idea why)
Now we have applied for GCMS notes.
We have two options:
1) reapply for SOWP with roles and responsibilities
2) go for PR process (my husband will complete his 1 year job experience in March 2021)
We will have a good CRS score, IN SHA ALLAH

a) i also want to know if we got proof of relationship as refusal reason, will it also affect in PR process?
b) can he apply for PR and after submitting docs , can he move back to Pak till we wait for COPR?

sorry for a long post , but we are very confused regarding these issues.

hi guys, need your help.. I did my bachelor of engineering and later an MBA. For my ECA WES only required my MBA degree and gave me a masters evaluation. however my complete experience is in engineering field.. While filling my EE form i just mentioned my MBA as it was the only one accredited by WES. is it ok to not mention my bachelors even though my NOC code for jobs are all engineering related. Secondly if i am looking at PNP programs should i get my engineering degree evaluated as well if im going for skilled worker in my relevant field. Any advice would be appreciated

While filling out my express entry profile, I did not see a field where I could enter details of my daughter. I did enter the details of my wife who is going to accompany me.

Is there a place where I ought to have had entered my daughter's details or does that come after ITA is received?

I need some help if anyone can
I got ITA and i am facing some problem while uploading the documents
I have job experience from September 2019 to March 2020 then 4 months lockdown and again from july 2020 to present and I filled similarly while creating my profile. Now after getting ITA it is showing two columns of employment records as I had to fill different because there was 4 months gap. So now how should I upload the documents in the column of both employement record ?

WES ECA gave me 4 years bachelors degree equivalency for my 3 year integrated BCom degree from Mumbai University.
Please suggest whether I choose 2 or more degree/certificate or just normal 3 year degree?

I think only bachelor if you don’t have any other diploma or degree

I am currently working in Canada (less than 1yr) but I do qualify for express entry under federal skilled worker. I want to know if I will still provide proof funds or will be exempted as in the case of Canada experience class. Anyone with any clarification about this? Regards
