Dear Friends/Seniors,

Need your urgent advise please. I got my PPR 1 Dec, however, due to visa issues in thailand, my passport will be returned to me on 27 Dec. The last date to submit is 30 days so it will be 31 dec.

I sent CSE explaining my situation to IRCC relevant visa office on 23 Dec but got no reply. I tried calling IRCC in ottawa but i think they have stopped agents answering peoples call.

I call VAC and they said, i have to submit my passport 5 working days prior to the deadline i.e., 31 Dec. However, when i called second time they said, its ok even if you submit on last date i.e., on 31 Dec to VAC.

Please advise what to do?

Thank you in advance

What is the meaning of deadline if you have to submit something 5 days prior to that date. If that were needed IRCC would tell you to submit within 25 days and not 30 days. Your timeline is 30 days so submit within 30 days.

Dear Cansha,

Thank you very much for your kind guidance! Actually i called vfs two times and first time they said the same thing which you did, meaning as long as submit passports before 30 days deadline its fine. But when i called second time, another person said, when you submit passports, its takes minimum 5 working days for IRCC to receive the passports, so you should submit your passports 5 working days prior to your deadline, as such i was confused and wanted some guidance.

Thanks again!

Hi everyone,
just a quick question, in the work experience section I noticed that they've said continuous, full-time and paid job, So now I was wondering what does this continuous actually means! Because I have overall 39 months of employment, however I changed my employer 3 times and have couple months gap between each employment. Is there going to be a problem???
Appreciate your help a lot.

hi, in fact, in order to get ITA through the
immigration programs available, your friend at least should speak English. There are many requirements and I believe speaking English is one of the most important one )

Hi,
I have a gap of 1 year between my class 12 and engineering.
Should I add this period in the IMM 5669 Schedule A- Question 7. Education?

As per the instruction guide, only formal education is required in Question 7 and we should not have any gaps in Question 8 on Personal history.
So, I'm wondering whether we can keep a gap in Question 7 on education.

Thanks for the reply!!

Dear all I need advice based on my current situation. I have 4yrs bachelor in child development and WES assessed the same. I moved to Australia soon I finished my degree and couldn't manage work in that field as living in small country town less job opportunities. I have diploma in hospitality but my work in that field is less than 2 years so I don't qualify for skilled trade program. I am working as a retail supervisor casually last 7 years. I'm also working as a carer in a nursing home last 3 years. I tried indeed and other job site but most replied if I had work permit they would have hired me. Though applying as a home support worker which is the most suitable option for me but I failed to manage an employer. Recently I've applied home child care provider pilot and received AOR. My sister in law is my employer. I want to make EE profile incase my application get refused. My question is can I use my retail job experience to qualify for 1 years job experience and claim points for arranged employment as home child care provider. Sorry for the long post. Any suggestion/ opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Log-in to the portal, click on 'check full application status', then 'view your profile' link somewhere towards top right corner. Then go to 'Study and Languages' tab (update form) - at the bottom you will see the education details already added by you (in a tabular form) - click on modify and update the date and submit form.

Hi guys, have a basic question here which might have got answered already, still appreciate if some one can re-clarify:

I have a total of 6 years of work experience (across 3 employers), however I want to claim point only for 1 employer for a period of 3.2 years. Am I required to put my other employers as well (I cannot procure reference letters from them); If I don't put them under work experience, will it be counted as misrepresentation?

Same goes for my spouse as well, for whom we don't want to claim any points for work experience, but she has a total of 4 years of experience. Should we put it in EE profile? If we put it in, will it require reference letters? And if we don't, will it be counted as misrepresentation?

You can select 'two or more certificates', which essentially means Bachelors + Post Graduate Certificate / Diploma. (This provided both your credentials are from 'recognized institutions'.
