Express Entry Step by step instructions.

There are 2 cases in Provincial Nominee Programs. Following are they:

1) Firstly, you receive nomination through the province itself, like you have received the nomination from Alberta. So you should accept the Invitation to Apply (ITA) and apply for the visa. You would be issued the Canada PR Visa as per the norms of the said visa. But there is a twist to it. You can't move out of the province with that visa. You have to stay in the province only.

2) Secondly, you get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the express entry linked stream of the province. Like what you have mentioned in the latter portion of the question. Under that you'll be straight away picked up by the province from the Express Entry system pool. Moreover, you would receive an extra 600 points, out of 1200, in the Express Entry system as per Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). This almost guarantees your invitation if you fulfill other criteria as well.

In your case, you fall under the first category. So you need to apply for the Alberta PNP. You can go ahead. Moreover, as per the latest Express Entry draw, which was held on 12th of June 2019, the score accepted is 465. So, if you want to considered for the express entry system, you need to score the relevant points by compensating in any of the pre-set criteria.

Thank you for the explanation. Here is an update about myself and more questions. I just received Express Entry - Province/Territory Interest Letter from Alberta. However, you can only have one provincial nomination at a time, so I think I will have to withdraw the nomination I got from Alberta Opportunity Stream so they might process my application for Alberta Express Entry. I am not sure if I should withdraw my existing nomination since there is no guarantee that I can get another nomination which can give me 600 points.
I am not sure what to do here, please give me some advice.

Regarding the (Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count) i have experiance 13 years as staff nurse and i take full time study to earn master degree in ( university if calgary qatar) and now am going to finish the second year, in scoring assessments it is not mentioned in the experiance wheather i stop for last two years it only ask how many years of experience, please your advice what I suppose to answer this question by no or more than six years experience????

I would suggest to accept the former one i.e. Express Entry one as that would aid you getting your Canada PR Visa. For the latter, i.e. for withdrawing your nomination for Alberta Opportunity Stream, that you have to check out.

I'm listed as Director alongside my friend in a registered company, for which there has never been any business transaction since incorporation,and i am also in a paid employment. Do I need to include this in my personal history considering it will overlap with my current paid employment, if I am to include it in my personal history, how do I go about this as no points was claimed for this because I am not the PA?
Or can i simply write an LOE to explain this as against putting it in personal history because of the overlap effect it will have on my paid employment history?

Hello everyone, just a quick question and any response would be much appreciated:

I mistakenly put in my country of origin as my country of residence in my Express Entry Profile -- and not the country I currently reside in. I got my invitation. Should I decline the invitation & update my country of residence and get back in the pool or just go ahead with the final application & update the country of residence there?

Details in the immigration process should always be updated. If not updated, i think, you won't be able to take part in the immigration process and if you are issued the Canada PR Visa, that will stand cancel.

I will definitely update it. The question is do I decline the ITA & update it or update it in the final application?

During profile creation, do I need to include Master's Degree which was not evaluated? Though I intend to include it in Personal History and LOE during eAPR. My fear is, will it automatically appear in Education History?

If here is no thread of that can, could someone who has in-depth understanding of the process, kindly create one and put it as sticky?

I am bit confused as to what would be the first step in applying for the EE and its corresponding steps.
Though website provide instructions to certain extent, i am not entirely convinced as i understand there is lot more required than what is mentioned on the website.

I think you have to submit all your professional educational documents with WES while you apply for Canada immigration.

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.

Regarding police certificates....Can I apply for police certificates before putting my application in or before receiving ITA?

If your skills qualify your for Ontario PNP under express entry, you will get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under which, in the 60 days window, you have to apply for the visa.
