I'm submitting my EE application and after filling up the questionnaire where I was asked to list experience of my common-law partner (in general not only this claimed in Canada), I'm asked to submit the proof of work experience for all positions of my common-law partner even though his experience was not in Canada.
In requirements it s mentioned that only the experience of common-law partner (if work experience in Canada is claimed) is mandatory. How should I understand that?

Please help me as my partner has quite long list of past positions and it will be tough to get all employment letters on time...only 32 days left.

Remove all the details from work history and retain info in pers hist and that shud resolve this issue.

In my opinion you must submit what all you have they will see your points based on total actual ref letters among all you will submit. In my case as well not available all as employers already closed so can not get. So in such case i will even share what all i have in hand. Whereas for some i have proper ref letters and same i am submitting to them.

I have an EE score of 426 and got a letter of interest from Ontario PNP. Please inform, if I accept it then is it mandatory to settle in Ontario itself or can I go to other Provinces with(out) any restrictions.

Now that you have got a letter of interest, you would need to put forth an application with them and if you are nominated and awarded additional 600 pts, you need to stay in Ontario. The reason Ontario is providing you the nomination because they want you to work in their province and make it your primary residence. There is nothing stopping you to go to other provinces but if OINP comes to know that your intent is not to settle in their province the your PR can be revoked.

I wanted to add that each (Temporary/Permanent) resident and Citizen of Canada has a Social Insurance Number The Big Provinces have unique first digit on the SIN number, so even a regular employer should know if a PR landed in which province just by looking at the SIN.

hi,can i ask for help in answering the education history in ee profile? 1.my husband have a bachelors degree and he finished it in 4 1/2 years because he shift course.but in the field complete /academic years it does not accept 4.5 years..it only accept whole numbers... 2. he had a vocational courses commercial cooking which he finished for 6mons and baking that took only 4 months.what will i put in complete/academic years?when the course only lasted in months?and what will i put in level of education? please i need help..

When you enter the number of completed academic years, always provide the course length provided by the university and not how long you or your husband actually took to finish the studies.

After all, somebody might do a 4 year bachelor degree, but only part time and take 6 years to do it. In that case, it would still only count as 4 completed academic years.

No there is no such thing. You will not find any of this in print - There is no "minimum period" that I know of, at least for Ontario. IMO, this is all hear-say, ain't it? Having said that, we have a moral obligation to stay in Ontario because they nominated us to fill their job market.

If you have a rock solid reason as to why you had to move to another province (If you are able to prove that even though you tried very, very hard you were not able to get a job etc.,), you might be allowed to continue your PR status. I hear from people that provinces can revoke your PR if they decide that you "did not intend" to stay in the province.

No. You are NOT lying about anything. It might be considered misrepresentation if you omit it from the personal history section but there is no point in disclosing a job that does not offer you any points whatsoever in the employment section.

I am currently working as an IT Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist in a small firm for 6 months and now I might get another job as Data Engineer. So Can I file my PR using split experience of 1 year.
So I will be having 6 months of IT Manager and Digital Marketing Specialist experience
And 6 months of Data Engineer experience.
So overall it would be 1 year. Is it allowed to do this ?
Or I have to complete 1 year at my new job?

Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same NOC skill type (0, A or B),
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

So, for FSW, you need at least one year of continuous work experience. When you have met this requirement, you can count other work experience in the way you have mentioned.
