Hello all,

Asking for your opinions and suggestions in my case. Im recently in Dubai. It just happened that my company closed. So I moved to other company. I am now on employment visa under my new company, just issued 1 day ago. I know I need to declare it but the problem, I cannot assure if I could get a Certificate of Employment since Im not yet starting to work but I have offer letter but not as specific as the CIC required like on COE. I still have no contract because we are still on the process and it will take time before I get that. But I need to send my post ITA documents.

Do you think they will accept the offer letter only? I dont know what to do po. Please help!

I would like to receive some clarifications on work experience for my express entry profile.

In my case, I received the masters completion certificate on 14-Jan-2015 and I applied for post graduation work permit on 21-Jan-2015. I got a job contract, so I contacted CIC to check that can I start working? I received a reply from a CIC agent that I have already submitted an application for post graduate work permit so I can work. Therefore I started my work from 01-Feb-2015. Then, I have been issued my post graduate work permit on 4-April-2015.

1) Is the job contract during implied status (1-Feb-2015 to 3-April-2015) considered as work experience or not?

2) Between 1-Feb-2015 to 31-July-2015, I worked in two different places. In one place, I worked for 35 hours and in another place I worked for 10 hours.
2.1) How will you calculate the number of full time experience in my case
2.2) Is it 35 hours per week or 45 hours per week?
Case 1: Based on my first job, I worked 35 hours, so during this period (1-Feb-2015 to 31-July-2015) I worked roughly 4 weeks , i.e., 840 hours
Case 2: Based on my both jobs, I worked 45 hours, so during this period (1-Feb-2015 to 31-July-2015) I worked roughly 4 weeks , i.e., 1080 hours

No, it does not affect. You will continue to get invited as long as the cut-off score is below your score.

Application goof up- please help

GUYS PLEASE READ THIS AND SHARE ME YOUR SUGGESTIONS
i'm in dilemma with my application. I received an email from OINP but before sharing that plz go thru this whole scenario. You may then can suggest me what shud I do!!
1. I sent an application on 7th October to OOPNP.
2. While reviewing photocopy, i realized i missed writing 2 things:
(1) Office phone number &
(2) Personal history from 2005-2008 (I only wrote work details of 2008-2015). I was studying during
2005-2008 and this can be seen in education details.
3. I thot they'll consider my application "incomplete", so I sent second application form on 19th November. Along with it, I sent Change of Personal Information form mentioning all the info I missed and also about the raise in salary in current job.

Now, they have 2 application forms and have sent me the below email last night. I want to know, if I should opt for 1st form or 2nd form for my visa process?.

Please note that we are in receipt of two application forms, dated October 7, 2015 and November 19, 2015 respectively. As indicated in your change of personal information form dated December 9, 2015 if you choose to submit your second application, processing will begin from this date. Therefore, if the specified changes are not critical you may continue with your initial application submission.

Please confirm in writing to OINP.

please share your thought, I am not sure if the missed details in 1st form can be considered "CRITICAL"?

Hi,

I have applied PR and it is in process. However, on 7th Dec I received a mail that "your account has been suspended due to inactivity".
When I try to login and change my password, it got activated, but when it ask me to add EE details and I try to add EE profile no and job seeker validation code - it says wrong EE profile no or job seeker validation code.

Did anybody face similar kind of scenario ? or can you suggest me what to do ?

Will it be any impact in my PR application ?

Also I have opened job bank account but it still shows pending in the ee application.

Can someone help me out here for a sec. I have a valid job offer with an recently approved Lmia. The number on the top of the page for the Lmia is what i should enter into my EE profile for my points to get updated. Want to update asap to be hopefully entered into the next draw.

I have more than 5 years of experience in Software engineering (software development).
All my experience certificates mention 'Software Engineer'.

Software engineering is a regulated occupation in Canada. Do I need to obtain license / certification before applying for nomination program?
I have worked all along in software development and would be searching jobs in software development only.

Is there difference between 2173 (Software Engineers and Designers ) and 2174 (Computer Programmers and Interactive Media Developers).
2173 requires license while 2174 doesn't.
Can I apply under 2174 without the need of license, where my experience certificate shows me software engineer?

-Maintain bug tracking system.
-Prepare test status and release reports.
-Interact with developers to reproduce and fix issues.

Seems more like testing. Compare with standard noc codes responsibilities and a 50 percent match should be the one you chose.

2173 is a regulated occupation for your information. Not sure about 2883.

Need help seniors,
i want to create my profile but befor that i am trying the tool "check eligibility" to get reference number which is required to create express entry profile but it is saying you are not eligible......
my details are - ECA- Bachelors degree(3yrs)
Ielts score= L=7.5, S=6.5, R=6.5, W=6.5, overall=7.0
marital status=single
experience is in NOC B for 4 years
single applicant and money bring to canada more than $ 11874..
plz help seniors......

I have completed 4 years graduate degree and 3 years post graduate masters. The Master diploma is 27 months part time programme (WOrking manager programme).
Will this be eligible for education assessment?
