Hi,

Is it mandatory to apply with Job bank after initial creation of EE profile? It looks like I had enough points (485) to get ITA in last draw (481) but couldn't get as I was not registered with job bank at the time of draw?

Thanks

Hi Yam,

I have a question, while applying I did show my experience which was all correct but for 2 years I was working with a company only on intensive basis (part time as I had to take care of my little baby at home) I joined that very company on full time basis last year April. Now, when I will apply for PR, will there be a question that I was not getting paid for my job every month until April? I do have a letter from my employer. What all background verifications will be there. I am at 330, what are the chances this year?

Thanks in advance...

Hello people,

Need your help/advice/suggestion.

is there a thread in this forum that someone can point me to, that will provide a step-by-step instructions of how to apply for Express Entry process(in order).
If here is no thread of that can, could someone who has in-depth understanding of the process, kindly create one and put it as sticky?

I am bit confused as to what would be the first step in applying for the EE and its corresponding steps.
Though website provide instructions to certain extent, i am not entirely convinced as i understand there is lot more required than what is mentioned on the website.

These instruction will be helpful not just to me but many aspirants who are seeking a lucid understanding of the process.

Thank you all for your time. :)

@YAM: (or anybody who knows)

ok yam, makes sense when putting it in my Express entry profile. What about the work history in the job bank profile? Should I put all of them too, even if only 2 (noc codes) of them are relevant to my job application and the rest aren't?

i have worked in 8 different companies for the last 10 years with about 5 noc codes. only 2 noc codes are relevant.

yes dear, without register in Job Bank, you may not be selected and suggest you to register ASAP to jump in next round of invitation.

Someone isn't happy. I did a search in the top right hand corner white box on the main forum page "check EE application". I scrolled through the first dozen entries. I hope this is what you need.

"12) CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY APPLICATION AFTER SUBMISSION?

ANS:- YES OFCOURCE YOU CAN, JUST CLICK ON THE "VIEW SUBMITTED APPLICATION" BUTTON BELOW YOUR MESSAGE TAB AND UPDATE WHATEVER INFORMATION YOU WANT!

Hi guys, please help me. I just submitted my application for EE. It says I am ineligible   :( which weird because the CIC itself says "Based on your answers, you appear to be eligible for Express Entry"!!
I have checked my IELTS scores. I have two years of experience outside Canada. Everything looks correct. I have not registered for job bank yet because I have not received the Job Seeker Validation Code.
Do I need to have Canadian certificate of qualification for job?!
Any thoughts?

What am I doing wrong?
I have done two years of my PhD in Canada. I believe I am eligible for FSW as the CIC assessment says so!
My IELTS scores are 6-6.5-7.5-7 SRLW! with overall of 7! Which is enough!
I have two years of foreign work experience!
I have assessed my Bachelor's and Master's degree!
What else do I need? What is wrong with my profile. I created a new profile and I got ineligible again!!!

2 major factors that will bring your assessment down: work experience and your IELTS score. you have 2 years experience so that would have been enough, so im thinking that while 7 is passing for ielts, you might need to score higher than 7.

The minimum requirement is 1 year work experience, minimum of 6 in each skills with overall of 7! I am eligible and CRS calculator says I have 416 points. Besides the CIC assessment says I am eligible and I can create an EE profile!

this is based on my personal experience. minimum doesnt mean its enough, there are other factors that may affect your score. so aside from the 2 factors i've mentioned above for you to consider, i dont know.

If that is the case why CIC assessment says I am eligible and takes me to the page to create EE profile? I know it is not only my issue. Many candidates have experienced it. So please stop saying I don't have enough points! Even based on FSW old system I have 71 points which is more than minimum (67).
Guys, is there anyone who knows what could cause this ineligibility? How do you enter the complete/full academic years?
I have recently renewed my passport so I have two passports now, I should enter both of them, right?

What is the WES reference number? Should we enter only the numbers or the letter after the numbers as well?
