Jassu take a look on my comments plz.

Seniors,
let me know before creating new profile for EE, i have some questions in my mind, actually im new in this group.
1. I have done MBA, and i am doing irrelevant job (Heath and safety Environmental) which is not according to my education. so can it be affected on my case?
2. Before creating profile for EE, i have to appear in IELTS? or i can do it later on during process of my case?
3. Similarly Education degree attestations from WES, i have to apply before creating profile?
4. and i have done some 2 years diplomas from institutes which are not listed in WES, so do i have to mention in my profile?

Thanks
1. i had tried inquiring abt that part myself. from where i understand at this moment they dont give much of a damn. but i m sure sometime in future that will come into play, just like australia.
2. u will have to have IELTS result in ur hand when applying.
3. u will have to have WES certificate in ur hand when applying
4. well if u dont get equivalency report from WES, then dont mention it as it can b constructed as misleading.

finally u can relax. EE is not first come first serve.. its all point based.. that means even if u apply after couple of months when u have all the documents in ur hand and get the lottery points (eg. 420) u ll b given ITA immediately... so just get ur documents and chill..

dude ur uncle being in canada has no effect on ur skills..
it might help u qualify at the best but under EE you dont get any points for relatives.. even if that is your own parents being citizen of canada..
Thanks for reply. I think i asked wrong question.My actual question does my uncle (my mother's brother) come under category of uncle in Relatives in Canada under Adaptability factor in FSW (which has 5 points) and we need 67/100 points to get eligible? If yes, could anyone please tell what are documents required to prove it.

there no such thing as minimum score in EE.. if u r applying for FSW u just need to qualify for FSW which means u need 67 out of 100.. chk this link to c if u get 67
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp
Thanks i will make note of it

Dear Seniors,
I have yet another question: I have submitted my EE profile and it got accepted. I want to go over my proflie just to triple check i had put everything correctly.... My question is when i view my "submitted application" just to clear any doubts (though I am sure things were correct in it) will i have to save and exit it. Will it affect my submitted document ie do i have to resubmit it.

Hi

I want to know
A)if we compulsorily need a job in hand through job bank before applying.. what is the exact role of job bank..

2)also while checking my eligibility it says which state do u want to reside in .. does this carries weightage or just like that..

i am 36 , ielts is wlb 9 scoring , no 1114 , wes assessment done with bachelors equivalent , police verification done last year ...

thanks in advance and thanks for creating such an excellent link for people like us who are new.

thanks again

Hi batrap,

A couple of resources that might help:

The 67 points you reference determines your eligibility for Express Entry. You can find out more about this by searching for "Express Entry Eligibility" in Google.

The 600 points (actually out of 1200) is the score (CRS) you will have in the pool. Do a Google search for "CRS calculator" and you find some sites that help you estimate your score based on all the details you posted.

Dear All,

can any one help in this matter..Regarding Job Bank.

Being an Electrical Engineer my NOC CODE is 2133.

Already made an A/C on Job Bank CA.

Do we require a job offer in respective field or any job offer as I m also in touch with EngineersCanada and according to them one cannot do or practice Engieering unless & untill they have an Engieering Lincensure that means Professional Engineering Lincensure Canada (PEC) to do so.

And to have that one must have 4 yrs of foreign work Experiance in engineering field which I do have in my country and out of which 12 months of Candian working experiance which I do not have as im out sider for Canada.

So how we able to jet a job offer in related field if we donot have PEC certification.

Hope few of us (engineers) are aware of this fact. ::)

pl help/ guide.

regards.

Dear Experts Please Advice,

I am finally ready to activate my EE profile. Got my ECA today!

My question is :
What will be my NOC code for the following:

Designation : "Design and Production Engineer"

Responsibility :
Designing and Interpreting Drawings in 2D and 3D as directed;
Proficiency in CAD;
Preparing accurate and complete certified drawings for customer review;
Maintaining and updating bills of material;
Preparing accurate full drawing sets for production in factory;
Conducting Q/A of products;
Confirming system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods;
Preparing product manuals;
Providing engineering information by answering questions and requests;
Maintaining product and company reputation with a positive attitude;
Maintaining system and product data base by entering data;
Contributing to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

It could be 2132 Mechanical Engineer or 2141 Industrial and Manufacturing Engineer.

My firm is engaged in Heavy Structural Fabrication Work.

Finally I have a degree in Aerospace Engineering and Astronautics!

Sorry to be such a pain with sorta similar questions.

Please advice!
