I am planning to apply for express entry, here is a clarification i need.
I have work experience of 1 year 11months as a Software developer. And during this period I created a pvt ltd company oh which I am director and shareholder. We were building a product and did not have client relations as such and had 2 3 employees fulltime in past and many interns over the period of time.

I myself assumed the role of Tech Lead/ Cloud Developer and did not draw any salary from the organisation. Is my work experience in my Pvt Ltd company valid as a Software Developer so that my experience is counted as three years in order to apply this way.

My score I calculated would come around 438. What are other options that I should follow which boosts my chances to get a PR in Canada?

If you are not drawing salary from your organization, then that work experience is not accounted.

Hi All,

I have given GT IELTS 5 times but unable to get the desired score 8777. Moreover, there is no news for CRS draw for outlanders. So I am willing to invest in study Visa. I have masters equivalency in ECA.

Question 1 :
I have only 47% in graduation and 6.2 cgpa in MBA thru distance mode from Amity university. Is there a chance to get 1 year study visa in public college? Should I try? I have my sibling who is PR in Ontario but I am flexible with other provinces too. Please advise.

Hi All,

I studied in foreign campus of Canadian University and final degree issued from Canada and my transcript showed the campus name and details etc. I have sent all my documents to WES as per their requirements for ECA report. After reviewing all my documents, WES cancelled my order and refund all fee by saying that your degree is Canadian and can't do ECA of Canadian education. I called WES and explained that my study is in foreign campus and for all foreign branches required ECA but they said the cant do equivalency of Canadian degree/education, you contact IRCC for further details.

Could someone help me how to get ECA or I can use DLI of main campus during my express entry profile. Thanks in Advance

We are all US citizens at present, but we are legally obligated to care for her. The US court system will not allow us to just abandon guardianship. She currently has assets of around $300k USD and that currently pays for her care. As guardians, we are responsible for her finances, her health and welfare.

So we need to be able to bring her, but I don't know what options there will be for us.

To bring her to Canada, she can visit as a US citizen but can't live in Canada permanently. To sponsor her, you need to sponsor her based on a lottery system that requires you to have 3 years of Canadian income tax submissions (NOAs) that meet LICO for the number of people in your family.

I got a provincial nomination from manitoba, I accepted and my points became 956. I then tried to update my work profile of 5years....immediately I updated my work profile I got a mail that iam no longer eligible for the programme even after accepting the nomination.

Please what can I do, as its presently showing my score as zero

So you have a ECA for the education. You will not have high enough points for Express Entry so look at PNP programs.

This is not enough... You would need a post grad diploma or Masters with CLB 9 in IELTS... The best would be to come on Visitor Visa and try getting a work permit here...

You were updating your Express Entry profile?
If yes, did you change the primary NOC code?
or Did you change the number of hours per week?

You need a reference letter from your employer, 3 recent salary slips and ITR

Hi, how long does MEP and BIL take? My AOR is July 24th (CEC Inland) i got an email saying my status has changed two days ago, then I went in and there was no change. Thought it would be for MEP but that didn’t change either? Is over 30 days normal to not have MEP or BIL?

I'm 43, Post Graduate (MCA) with about 18+ year experience in IT.

I have an below IELTS score:

Listening: 8

Reading: 7.5

Writing: 7

Speaking: 7.5

Overall: 7.5

1. What are my options please? Do I need to attempt again for a higher IELTS score?

2. Is the guide in first page still valid please?

3. I use https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...me-canada-tool-immigration-express-entry.html to check for my express entry. Are Ontorio and Quebec easier to get Express Entry Visa?

4. I currently work in a Canadian Company (Branch office in Asia). I'm also trying to get a transfer internally. Does a Transfer request improve options of getting EE?
