Hi everyone,

I currently have a CRS score of 478 and have been awaiting an ITA as per cut offs. I have a few questions about my application, would be great to get some help here:
- I have 4 years of work experience, two years of which is freelance. For most of these, I only have invoices, contracts and bank transfers as proofs of employment. Would they be rejected in the PR application once I get an ITA?
- I have applied to 200+ jobs over LinkedIn and individual company portals. I have only received rejections on this. I am currently working as a senior brand strategist at one of the largest digital media companies in Asia. Is there any way/portal/methods/recommendations for reaching out to potential employers who might offer an LMIA?
- How hard is it to get an LMIA within the advertising/media industry in Canada?
- Does anyone have any timeline on when we can expect the next EE draws and what their scores are predicted to be?
- Would C-19 implementation impact my chances of getting a PR considering I'm a part of the advertising/marketing industry?

Look forward to all your suggestions and comments. Thanks!

- Sounds like you should be fine with this evidence.
- There are no specific websites for employers offering LMIAs. You need to apply for jobs through regular job sites such as Indeed and LinkedIn and hope you get luckly and find an employer willing to go through the process. Most employers are not willing to go through the process.
- Not sure this occupation is in demand so probably very difficult.
- No one knows when the next draw will be or the score. Probably not below 489 given that's where the last draw was and there's been a bit of a pause
- There are no details available yet on C-19. Sure, it could impact your ability to get PR depending if your occupation is on the list or not.

You should consider learning French to increase your score.

I Have 1 year of working experience in Canada along with International (Bachelor's) as well as Canadian (2, One-year courses) education. I also have an 8.5 score in IELTS. My points came up to 479. That being said, I recently got married and my spouse is a Canadian Permanent Resident. When I updated the profile with that information, I did not seem to gain any additional points. @legalfalcon am I eligible to receive 15 additional points as my spouse is a Permanent Resident? If so, why didn't I? Am I selecting the wrong option while filling out my forms?

No, you are not eligible for any additional points through your PR spouse. It's correct that your points didn't change.

IF your spouse is a PR or a citizen, you do not get any additional points.

Hi, I have studied ACCA then UOL master. WES ECA gives me master degree equivalent and 4 yrs bachelor for my ACCA studies. But for my ACCA (I started it in 2011 in my home country and the rest of the papers from 2012 in Singapore). So for ACCA studies, country of study which one should I choose? Singapore? or split into 2 countries by date between my home country and Singapore?

Or should I just include my UOL master degree (highest degree which i claim points only) in the education history but include WES ACCA report and transcript in the upload ?

Kindly would love to know your take on this. thank you.

Hello All,

Request your help here. I am new to FSW EE program and would be applying to immigrate to Canada from India for the first time.

My job profile fits into the 2 categories - 20012 – Computer and information systems managers and 21222 – Information systems specialists. Does it matter which one I choose?

Below is my profile:

Citizen: India
Education from India: BTech (4 years Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering), will get evaluation done through WES.
Work Experience from India: 5 years or more exp in Software organization
IELTS English : (yet to take)
Single/Never Married
No Canada work experience or education
No relative in Canada
No job offer from Canada
Place of Interest: Ontario

Self-calculated CRS score: 435

Pls suggest if I should apply in FSW EE program. Do I stand any chance of PR, OR is there any other program I should to consider? Is there anything additional I can do to improve my score/changes for FSW EE?

Also, as I understand as per process, IELTS ->Education Credential -> Create EE Profile -> Wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). Let me know if my understanding is correct.

Thank you for help.

Any sort of help would be great and highly appreciated.
