I think you should be fine. But still you feel it is not OK, you can raise a CSE, there is no harm in doing so.
Thank you for reply. I have raised a CASE earlier. Not very comfortable in raising again. My only concern is when I send my passport for stamping, does this will raise any concern. A senior members advise do value. Thanks

When in doubt, it is better to raise the CSE than to be in trouble at the final stage. At least that way, you have informed them about it.

Hi seniors,

Can you plz advise me what to do with my case.

PNP nomination received and PR applied on Dec 31st , 2016.

Medicals and PCC( India) submitted
Emigration Fee Paid
Medicals passed
On 17tH Jan CIC requested an additional document – Malaysia PCC ( since PCC is applicable only for countries traveled in last 5 years &stayed >6months,I thought it’s not required because my stay in Malaysia was between 2010 July -2011 Dec , but after that I frequently traveled Malaysia official /personal but not more than a month. Though CIC has given 60 days’ time for me to submit Malaysia PCC , my worry is about Ielts which is going to expire on 14th March.

I understood that Malaysia PCC is taking 1-2 months’ time, for which I was told that I can submit my acknowledgement receipt to CIC in worse case if I couldn’t get the PCC within 60 days and request them for additional time ( is it correct?) will the case officer provide me extra time ? please advise. If so, is my ielts still valid or do I need to submit new one.

And do i need to wait for 60days or can i send the PCC apllication aknolwdgement before 60days to CIC to save time?

AD requested on 17th Jan
Time available to submit AD is till 17th March
Ielts expiry date is 14th March.

I know already posted a query about my Ielts expiry issue but that was before CIC requesting AD on Malaysia PCC.

looking forward

Thank you
Regards
Lavanya
PCC is required for all countries where you have been to and stayed for 6 months or more (irrespective of whether it was continuous or not) since you were 18 years old.

Was the total time spent in Malaysia greater than a year? If no, then you do NOT need a Malaysian PCC.

Check this -->

If you are not a citizen of Malaysia
If you live outside of Malaysia:

Certificates are only available to individuals who have stayed in Malaysia for one year or more.

If you have lived in Malaysia for more than one year, follow the directions above for citizens of Malaysia who live outside of Malaysia.

If you have not lived in Malaysia for one year or more, you are not required to provide a Malaysian police certificate. If you are asked for a police certificate from Malaysia, write: “I cannot provide a police certificate for the time I spent in Malaysia because certificates are only available to people who have lived in Malaysia for one year or more.”
However, if you have spent more than 1 year in Malaysia then you have to apply at the nearest Malaysian embassy/consulate.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/asia-pacific/malaysia.asp

I should tell you that you are incredibly lucky that your application wasn't rejected on grounds of not meeting the requirements of R10. Good luck and all the very best!

Hello friends,
I have a small query. I filed my application on 14.11.2016
Now I see on this forum that every stamped page of passport has to uploaded. Mine is a blank passport as I have never travelled outside my home country. As I have procured PCC twice, there are two stamps on my passport for PCC. Should I also upload them by raising CSe or is it fine without PCC stamping.
I have sent the PCC with my application, so they know that I have a valid PCc.

Thanks and regards

I do agree with Stanlee.

Surbhigurpreet - I have never traveled outside India too - no visas/markings except the ones stamped for PCC. However, I did upload the PCC stamps on the PP (both Indian) in both the Passport section and in the PCC section. You should be fine but if it would make you feel better, you can raise a CSE and let them know. No harm.

You have to submit PCC from every country you have stayed in cumulatively 6months + since you were 18.

PCC must be either less than 6 months old on the day of your E-APR (same as sending application). Or it must be issued later than the last time you have stayed in that country. (that also means short term visits).
My residence country is different than my home country. however i frequently go to my home country for work as well for two or three days. does it mean every time i travel i have to issue a new PCC and have it legalized then translated and raise a CSE. by the time i do all this, i would have got to home one more time and then i need to do it all over again ...bit inconvenient eh?!

PCC from counties other than your current country of residence is valid indefinitely if it was issued AFTER your last departure from that country.

Firstly congrats to everyone who got their PPRs recently! Good luck and all the best in a beautiful country.
Please share your experiences and help others here and anywhere you might come across people needing help.

Secondly, as Raj and others have repeated it numerous times, there is no point fretting over timelines yet,
it has been barely 3 mos or 2 months 28 days since most of us applied, perhaps lesser.

My 12 month OINP nomination wait has taught me this lesson the hard way, there is absolutely no point in stressing over something at this stage.
There are some people who received PPR after 18 months of AOR, you can check on this forum. Imagine their grief.

Remember, each applicant/NOC/case/profile is different. Sure we can predict application movement and timelines but nobody knows for sure and we won't either.

Divert yourself doing things you like, spend time with family and friends, watch movies, game, blog or just learn a new skill.

During my PNP wait I started learning Spanish by myself and now I can speak with 70% fluency ;D watch movies and talk to people.

We can order notes after the 120 day mark and see whats going on, it will provide us with a fairly clearer picture.
We can all order collectively if you'd like ;)

Good luck guys, hang in there!!

I was told by the agent that this is reqd. to be updated, and I checked with 3 other FSW guys who applied and they have scanned and updated these as well.
Like others said, you could be better off sending this across just to avoid ambiguity

thanks Raj for your reply

My homecountry PCC was made in Nov and application submitted with passport stamps in Dec. then traveled home for three days for work (stamps after application submitted) ..

should i expect them to ask for new PCC? given that, frequent traveller to alot of countries with lots of visas and stamps submitted and no criminal history and that all other documents are correct, would they request homecountry PCC again ?

do i issue a cse to inquire about this ?? ... CIC lines are always busy tough to reach agents, how to get through with it?

my medicals passed more than two weeks ago and BGC changed from NN>NS>NN .... i think by that R10 is passed and no need for doing all of this, i hope ??!!

On CIC website it mentions the following:

You can only send more documents to support your application if an IRCC officer asks for them.

It is important to include all the necessary information when you submit your application the first time. You can provide more information in the “Add letter of explanation” row when you are uploading your documents.

If we send you a message asking you for a new document, see IRCC is asking me for a new document. How do I submit it?

You can also let us know about important changes in your situation.

-important changes definition is shown as follows (Not mentioning/specifying PCC updating):

If your application is already in progress, use the Client Application Status (CAS) service. This online service allows you to view the status of your immigration and/or citizenship application online.

You can also use this Web form if:

you wish to report important changes regarding your application, such as
births,
deaths,
marriages,
divorces,
adoptions,
changes in address,
changes in employment,
acquisition of a new educational credential or
results of an approved language test;
you are seeking information that is not available via the Client Application Status service; or
the processing of your application is taking longer than the normal processing time (you will not get an answer if the normal processing time has not yet elapsed).

its mentioned as well that :
For example: if you visited, worked or lived in a country for two months, left for a few years, then returned for four months, that counts as spending six months there. In this case, you would need a certificate.

If you need a police certificate from a country or territory and:

-are currently living there, or received the police certificate before leaving, the police certificate must be issued within six months before you apply.
-have lived there in the past, the police certificate must be issued after you last lived in that country or territory.

i believe first one applies as its homecountry (still visiting) and received PCC before exiting and issued one month before applying.

Please seniors correct my understanding if its wrong, or any previous similar experiences with PCC

thank you

Guys, spreadsheet updated. Please check your details and let me know if something has to be changed. Also, please check if the "Additional information" is accurate. If any additional information (like forms/documents request from IRCC) is missing, please let me know.

Thanks.

1) PCCs for the current country of residence should be less than 6 months old at the time of submission of e-APR.
2) PCCs from all other countries are valid indefinitely if issued AFTER the last departure from the country.

Document requirements

For the applicant’s current country of residence, the police certificate must have been issued no more than six months before the submission of the e-APR.
For countries in which the applicant no longer resides, the police certificate must have been issued after last time the applicant lived in that country.
The above is the instruction on the EE checklist. Link below -->

Link --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Also, you can send documents if you think they are necessary. Yes, the office would ask for documents if required however, if you recall that you forgot to submit something along with the application you can raise a CSE, to be in a safer position.
