@All

Post ITA, in E-APR, Has anyone submitted employment reference letter on affidavit instead of company letter head?

If yes, then from whom affidavit got signed, from immediate manager or any colleague?

I would appreciate the reply from only those who have been in this situation, and got completeness check from CIC.

Wait, your BG never went to "In Progress" at any point in time? I guess the Master table shows your BG went to IP on 16th November? Is that information incorrect?

NN>>NS>>NN is a common path for PNP-O applicants. Your R10/A11.2 MIGHT have passed and your file MIGHT be ready to transferred to LVO for processing. However, you cannot know for sure unless you see your GCMS notes.
My background check too never went into In Progress at any point, only additional docs and interview went from not started to not needed.
Review remains in progress. final decision not started. Any idea ??

Checking CIC site is very hectic procedure as getting through ur account first time is a very big issue.

Between mine n urs timeline is similar. Is bg status still not needed since inception.
Yes that's right, its the same. Only additional docs and interview went from not started to not needed

My application has been submitted exactly one month as of today, and it's still in the Review in Progress for Review of eligibility. The Review of submitted documents row is blank as well.

Is this normal?

The whole process takes 6 months, and there is no reliable pattern to when any of the status changes. If there is minimal progress after six months, that would be not normal.

My Background check went to In Progress over the weekend. I assume late on Friday, 16th but I checked my account on Sunday and noticed the change. No email/ghost mail.

When you get an addl doc request and you upload the same...that's when it goes to "provided"

The fact that you didn't get a doc request till now is why its blank...

Best wishes!

It's kind of weird that applications from outside Canada are taking less time than inland applications. You would think someone who lived several years in Canada on a study or work permit would be pretty easy to BG check.

If you're already working in Canada, what's the rush? Many outland applicants have time and financial constraints, and some may not even have any current work in their home country since they're literally just waiting on the visa to come through.

I guess this is incorrect... mostly the inladers are getting ppr. It is only few outlanders in between who are getting early Ppr
