ECA-WES Evaluation- Chartered Accountant India

Dear All,

I am a CA from India. I got my ECA evaluation done by WES for CA and B.com, below are the results:

1. CA - Canadian Equivalency = Bachelor's Degree (3 years)
2. B.com - Canadian Equivalency = Bachelor's Degree (4 years)

How is this possible that CA is recognized as Bachelor's Degree in Canada?
Please advise.

This is fine, you should still be able to claim points for 2 or more degrees which is almost the same points for Masters.

However can you copy paste whats written in the summary of the ECA?

It is because of differences in Laws relating to Companies and Taxes in Canada. For an Indian CA to be equivalent to a Canadian CA (professional/Masters Degree), you would have to pass the final exam of CICA.
You can claim 128 points for level of education (Two or more post-secondary programs, of which at least one was completed after a post-secondary program of three or more years)

you can send put all small envelopes in one big envelope and send in one go. No need to send differently. i did the same and was accepted by WES.

I am using the free WES evaluation tool on Wes website for getting degree equivalency of my chartered accountancy degree. There is no option in the drop down list for Indian CA degree. Which option should I select ?

Do we need to get attestation on all mark sheets of 1st and 2nd year of Bcom which we received from college ?

I have done bcom (Mumbai University) and CA, I am confused as regard transcript of Bcom. Do I need to go to college for getting transcript of 1st and 2nd year ? Or it's being done by Mumbai University only bases Xerox copy...? And do I need transcript of all the 8 exam of first and second year..?
