Hi guys, I called CIC on July 21, and an agent told me my application has been approved. However my application hasn't been updated since nor have I received any correspondence from CIC. Does anyone have any idea in what kind of time frame I can expect to receive the PPR?

Hi guys, I got my PPR today. I'd like to thank everyone in this thread for helping me out. This place has been a source of hope for me during my down days. Sharing my timelines:

Stream: FSWO
Days from AOR to PPR: 136 (roughly 4.5 months)
AOR: Mar 21
IP1 / Medical Passed: May 18
NA: June 5
IP2: July 31
PPR: Aug 4

As you can see, it took me longer than average to get PPR. Don't lose hope. I pray that everyone else in this thread gets theirs soon!

I have provided 2 employment letters (from my current employer and a previous one). Yesterday my current boss who wrote my employment letter got an email from CIC to verify my employment, which went fine.

The issue is when I checked with my former boss, I discovered that he had recently joined a new company and hence changed his email & phone numbers. Consequently CIC will not be able to contact him if they wanted to verify since the contacts on the employment letter are no longer valid.

I appreciate if you have any suggestions.
Many thanks

Dont worry as long as the company exists they can check your letter and i think if any issue they will ask you for explanation :)
