dear SMSH,
Page No changes every time, you should check/share what info is hidden,
there should be more s.15(1) and only few s.19(1)
where ever u found s.19(1), is there any thing hidden related to you friend/family in Canada?

Thanks for the info. But is it fine to go without taking driving classes? I mean... first, is it allowed? second, shall we get enough knowledge by driving rent-a-car to go for test?

I would not advise you to go for a test, without taking classes, if you want to save money atleast take 2 classes from Instructor then practice the instruction given by instructor on you rent a car, you will be surprised, there are many things which you will realize you were not doing when driving the rent a car, which actually could result in a ticket from police.

You can take rent a car to the Drive Test for your test purpose, there is no restriction in it, but make sure that all the signals and lights must be working, and there should not be any damage in any of glasses specially on wind screen, else they will cancel your test and 50% of your fees will be forfieted.

Yes RTA letter expiry date is 2 months only but good news is that TEST DRIVE accepts this letter for up to 6 months. So even if your RTA letter expires in 2 mo Canadian driving authorities accept it till 6 months. When I came to know this, my husband got a rent-a car (for CAD$23 per day incl taxes from Enterprise) and driving!

Can you advise if this 23$ a days includes insurance as well, if not then what is the total rental cost you have to pay per day to enterprise. I am asking because I also took rent a car from Enterprise and to me they charged approx. 68$ a days with full collision cover and all taxes

Dear all,
Hope you are doing well and having a grt day.
I have a query .My ECA assesment was done by WES and they post it which never reached me and more than 3 months now but i had ordered for another copy from WES and i recieved the copy and sent my application to cic but what i realise is the WES assesement copies says on the top of the report that these are duplicate copies. Will CIC accept these duplicate copies though their are original.
would appreciate if anyone has any experience on this to update and advise for the same.

Best Regards

Hi everyone

I am based in Dubai and did my landing in October last year and now by the end of October this year I will be travelling to Canada to settle down permanently. I just have a few queries:

1. I can travel with my PR card only right ? I don't need any other documents ? I will be travelling via emirates through a direct flight to Toronto.

2. Before I go I want to ship some of my stuff to Canada . What is the best way to send things , I have heard Cargo? If you know any cargo companies , that would be great.

3. I recently sent around 20,000 dollars to my account in Canada, do you think that is taxable? I have very little idea about taxes in Canada, if someone can post a link about it , that would be nice.

I appreciate any response to my queries.

Thanks

Its too far to get car buddy......I have not moved permanently. Let's hope for next year :-))

Hello everyone,

Hope all are doing well. I just have a question regarding licensure of ones profession once you reached in Canada. My husband is Mechanical Engineer graduate of 5yrs and I am BSN graduate of 4yrs but unfortunately never had our license in home country. I want to know if the license in our home country is valued in Canada or its ok without it that we can write an exam in Canada anyway? We are planning to take our exams if really need to. Please enlighten me.. I really don't have idea coz we don't have family in there whom we can ask about it and never been there us well. It maybe sounds weird to all of u but your answers will be a great help for us. Hope somebody reply me on this as we I am gathering all info's only in this forum. Thanks in advance and God bless! :)
