I have a clarification on the above. I had done this through my lawyers and I had paid them money for the courier for both ways. A friend who is applying directly has just got instructions to submit his PP. So I will pass on your advice above but just wanted to know if there ia preferred courier and does he need to pay money for both ways ?

Hi,

uae applicants r not required to pay for return package in advance, one need to pay only after receiving( to the delivery person ).we hv used dhl courier services n they r pretty professional.

I have a consultant and they are based in India, hence I will be sending the passports myself to London. My question is, since the start of my application my address on ECAS is the address of my consultant in India and since then transactions has been addressed to them. Now that I'll be sending our passports myself and of course the returning address would be my address here in Abu Dhabi wont there be any problem or should I update my address on ECAS with my address in AUH? Thanks in advance

Al Fardan Exchange guys would give the cheapest rate , I would recommend them , always better to make draft from Exchange than a bank , as bank would give you a higher rate

UAE Exchange has started issuing CAD drafts lately. I took from them in June

Nothing to worry,no need to update address.

I had applied thru consultant ( biggest mistake,realised later) and i had sent pps on my own with return envelop without updating any address.i can remember some of consultants in dubai encourage applicants to send pps on their own.

Go to HSBC or Al Fardan Exchange. Both can do the job well.

Dear All,

By the grace of God Almighty, our medical is in after we send reconsideration letter for refused application.

I want to thank you all in this forum because i have benefit a lot from you all, we got refused letter by May and i asked Captain Qorax and he advised me to send reconsideration letter with details of missing information because the IO rejected our application on the ground of insufficient document.

After four month of waiting; The LORD is good, we received file re-open letter and medical request together.

I just want to thank you all for your support, Captain, Biju, Bestpal, all Seniors and Juniors like me; It's your valuable input that makes this world a better place.

(1) I will also like to get your advice for the best place to conduct the medical examination in Dubai, and one more thing, (2) my wife just change her passport to a new one, hope this will not affect the medical.
(3) We planned to send the copy of the new passport with the police certificate requested, kindly advice if it will not cause any damage if we send it after one month.

I wasnt allowed to fill my address for PR card in the application on landing as the IO saw on my embarakation card that i will stay for 18 days only.

After 4 days i got the address and sent by fax , do you think there could be an issue later or there would be a remark on my file ??
