Dubai applicants have to submit passport to abu dhabi visa office ?

They say upto 4 weeks but there r cases when they took even longer

So even though your visa office is london, you need to submit passport at abu dhabi office ?

As i remember for london office , you need to submit passport at london earlier.

Yes if u applied from dubai than u will sub,it passport in abu dhabi

Mo it was never london. As sending passports across border is illegal. So passport submission is based on where u applied from or where u currently reside

Hello Guys....!!

I am NDVO applicant, received my ppr or 1st June 2015, and submitted my passport on 8th June 2015 to Abu Dhabi Visa office, Till date i haven't received my passport, its 36 days (25 working days). Is there anything to worry about.

There is no means for me to contact me them, i have written two mails, beyond 10 working days, but no response. Tried calling them, nobody in person to answer us. Also tried mailing and calling NDVO , all in vain.

I am worried now if everything is right? sometime i have doubt if it is correct to submit passport to ADVO, when i have received mail to submit passport at NDVO (PPR mail). But if that is the case then why did ADVO accept my passport, when my wife hand delivered it to them. Moreover they haven't communicated to us that the submission is wrongly done.?

Hope if anybody can throw some light on this or any suggestion of how to contact these guys?

Should i again raise CSE to NDVO for this, i have done this twice before, one before submission to confirm my action of sending passport to ADVO and other when i submitted my passport to ADVO?

Please let me know if anybody has any inputs on this.

Hello Mustafa,

I received passport request on 5th June and sent our passports to ADVO from Oman through Aramex which were received at ADVO on 9th June and till date we are waiting for our passports from ADVO. So I believe there is nothing wrong that you submitted your passports to ADVO. The only thing is they are having huge work load these days that's why taking more time. I am sure in a day or two we will get our passports back with visa stickers and COPR. InshaAllah.

Also keep in mind that its Ramadan timings, so most offices are barely working a few hours... everything usually slows down a lot during Ramadan and summer anyway, so I think you should be alright.

I doubt that u can submit passport at abu dhabi office instead of NDVo , as your visa office is NDVO.

Have never heard this case and whats the reason for not submittinf to NDVo visa office. There are ways to submit passport to NDVo even though u r not in india

U can not choose visa office of ur choice. He meant to say that once the case is processed and you r about to get PPR or already got one then u can request submission of passport for stamping as per ur current location. Personal circumstances do change and ppl do move to other countries during process so if they inform visa office before hand they allow submission to local visa office for visa stamping
