Yesterday and today, the draws were completely program specific. In coming days/weeks we might see a similar draw for CEC.

So far I didn't see an FSW getting an ITA. I didn't get mine either. Only people who qualify for both FSWs and CEC have gotten it. FSWs who got their ITAs, please post.

I got an ITA. I was eligible and met the requirements for CEC & FSW as per the profile.

But I am confused now because I was not offered the additional 50 points for the Valid job offer.

I have a job offer that LMIA does not back, nor has my employer got an LMIA.

I am on Open PGWP and will complete my 1 year of work on 1st march; the same employer I showed I have an offer letter for.

But as you know, the IRCCs system sometimes gives you points for 1 year of experience a month before, and that has happened. So I received 40 points for Canadian work experience.

Intended work in Canada

Does have a job offer in Canada?
The offer must:
  • be full-time and for at least one year
  • meet different requirements depending on type of job (i.e. some need apprenticeships and certification) and
  • be non-seasonal for Federal Skilled Workers.
Answer: Yes

Is this job offer for work that is:
  • full-time
  • continuous and
  • For at least one year?
Answer: Yes
  • Is this job offer for work that is non-seasonal? Answer : Yes
  • Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the job offer in Canada? Answer: No
  • Is currently working in Canada? Answer : Yes
  • Does have a valid work permit for the current job in Canada? Answer : Yes
  • Has been working full-time for the employer on their current work permit for at least one year? Answer: No
  • NOC code of current work permit Answer: 99999 - open work permit
  • Was a positive Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) issued for the current work permit? Answer: No

Work History Question

Which of these categories does the job fall under? Answer: Work Permit required LMIA not required

Even without Canadian work experience, you're ineligible to proceed due to your lower score i.e. 480. You need to wait for another draw. FYI, Ontario also held a draw yesterday, but if you received the federal ITA first then I'm afraid you might have missed the OINP draw and so many other candidates with similar situation might have missed it.

You aren't entitled to the 50 points since what you have doesn't qualify as a job offer under EE. To qualify for the 50 points, your employer would either need to get an approved LMIA - or you would need to be on an LMIA -exempt closed work permit (such as an ICT) where your employer is named o the actual work permit.

There's nothing wrong with your selections. You simply don't qualify for te 50 points.
