Does internships when I was a full-time student count as work experience for EE or BCPNP?

Hey folks, seems like this has not been discussed before, but:

I had internship experiences when I was an undergrad and graduate student (both outside of Canada, full-time in summer), can I count them into my work experience in terms of EE or BCPNP?

Paid, just like full time employees. What do you mean by listed on previous applications? I haven’t mentioned them in either EE or BCPNP

You must have applied for a WP for example or other permits. Were the internships listed?

No they are in other countries, and I had legal statuses while interning.

I am in Canada with work permit, however the internships I am mentioning are several years ago when I wasn’t in Canada
