And do I need an invitation letter from my spouse as I am already in Canada
M not sure pal
Even m afraid are you even elegebile for SOWP as you r already in Canada as a student and after you suppose to apply for PGWP and you are applying for SOWP there are too many factors gonna affect your profile
Your marriage
Your financial status there
Invitation letters
Ties to your country
And the main reason what I am worrying about is first why you are applying for SOWP when you have choice of PGWP
And main concern is section 200

I am not sure about your offer letter and pay slips ,but in my yes I did provide with my offer letter and my pay slips for last 2 years along with bank statements of 2 years , ( outland SOWP) .and what I can see it's already been more then 5 months u have applied you can ask your agent to shoot an email to immigration and they definitely reply back to them .

thanks for the update.

Today I contacted CIC customer service, sadly got to know that application has been refused month back, but it didn't update in my status.
I have asked the reason for refusal, they said I haven't attached Work letter and payslip of my spouse.

But we are not understanding, for SOWP, I & my friend applied together, providing the same docs, still, she got her work permit without spouse offer letter and payslip. Not sure how they are checking eligibility?

If anyone put light on this issue, it would really help us to reapply.

Hello everyone

My husband work permit extension got refused in October due to not having my skilled job.

so we applied again in November with job offer and paystubs.

Now i got a new job of sales specialists in bank starting from 23rd December.

Question - Do we have to upload new job offer letter with paystub because banks usually don’t mention job responsibilities and duties or i should stick to old job ?

Thanks in advance

Hello, apply for GCMS notes - get a full detailed report about refusal and then re-apply.
you will get better understanding about your case by reading your GCMS notes.

Hi
My case is very complicated
I am in canada on PGWP and my husband is in India.
I came to canada as a student
When I was student I went to india got married (court marrige)
And came back
I applied for his SOWP and got rejection
Then after a year applied for his visitor visa and got rejection

Now I m on PGWP having NOC job
I talked to a consultant and gave all the documents to reapply for SOWP for my husband
But they are saying that it's very complicated case now
And the other thing is that our marriage pictures are in jeans & tshirt. At that we didn't inform to our parents bcoz of caste issues.
Now my family members are aware of it. I explained them every thing
But the issue is pictures of marriage in jeans tshirt . That Is what lawyer is saying

Can anyone pls guide me what I should I do

Hi,

I am in Canada from past 5 months on a closed work permit with NOC type A job. My spouse has TRV and is currently working in India. His SOWP application submitted from India got refused due to insufficient funds. Can you please suggest what do we do now? Is it better to travel to Canada and then re-apply for SOWP from within Canada? The processing time from India is currently showing 16 weeks!

Thanks

Hi Usha,
Along with the funds you have in Canada, you need to show the funds your husband has in India. In my case I had my TRV and then applied from India itself showing only my savings and investments as proof of funds. It was approved within a week.
So u need to show your husbands savings and invt too as proof of funds. I don’t know how SOWP process works if you apply from within Canada.
Good luck.

Hello, I‘m applying for a spouse permit and filling out the IMM1295 form. There is a section called "Employment" requiring me to fill in the work experience in the past 10 years. As the form only provides 3 empty rows for me to fill out this section, if I have more than 3 work experience, how could I fill in?

Thank you!

any kind of investments also can be used. For eg FD/Shares held etc.
Documents(This list is not exact as it will depend on case to case basis , however u can use this as a ref):
1. Passport and TRV
2. All the forms required
3. Marriage Certificate
4. My husbands Passport & Visa
5. My educational qualifications ( this was extra)
6. My Investments
7. 2/3 wedding pictures
8. Previous travel history
9. Proof of my employment history( this is also extra)
In case I missed out any documents, u can add them to your list.
