Didnt get GCMS Notes after 30 calender days

Its been 33 days since I applied for my GCMS notes. Didnt receive it yet.

I am a AUG applicant.

Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Had the same issue some time ago. I sent them an email once 37 days have passed. They replied immediately saying that they put my request in priority queue. After waiting for additional week finally received my GCMS notes.

You should have it in the confirmation email that you received when you submitted your request

Do not worry.. some times it can be few days late too..
the email you received when applying for GCMS notes, just reply back to them. I got my notes a few hours after I had emailed for not receiving the notes past deadline.

You should apply under Privacy Act and since you are in Canada you needn't pay anything as well.

Check the below Steps for requesting GCMS notes) :-

Find below some useful info.

1. Visit https://atip-aiprp.apps.gc.ca/atip/welcome.do?lang=en
2. Scroll down and check the box "I have read, understood and agree with the above Privacy Notice." and Submit.
3. Select CIC from the drop down. (first field)
4. Select Individual/Corportation present in Canada (Second drop down)
5. Fill in your details (Self explanatory)
6. Select Member of public for "Select the category that best describes you"
7. select "E-mail" for "How would you prefer to receive the requested records" ( choose the mode you are comfortable with)
8. Continue to next page.
9. You dont need to attach any additional documents, unless you want to prove something.
10. Select Privacy Act in next page
11. Submit the final request. Once you submitted the request, wait for one month.

Still didnt get the GCMS notes. I emailed atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca 4 days back but still no luck.

Dunno what to do.

I also got it today, I applied on 19th Aug. And send two e-mails after 30 days. 2nd e-mail was today and quickly I got a response that my GCMS are overdue and I think after 3, 4 hours I received my notes.
So I will advise you to send an e-mail to atip with you ticket number and other details, they will definitely send you after that.
