We got a call from Embassy on 29th April and they reconfirmed that in case we are ready to move on short notice, they will send us the visa. In the end of the call they confirmed that they will send the visa in a matter of days.
However, there is no change in VFS status till now. Can anybody comment if this delay of so many days is normal? We have 30 days for our medicals to expire.

Finally We Got the stamped Passports for me and my husband After 4 Years.

However, there are 3 issues...
1) We are still waiting for our daughter's passport. Our passports came from New Delhi and her PP is in Chandigarh Visa Office. Our medicals expire on 3rd June 2014.
2) The COPR forms for me and my husband have written over it in background that "Not valid for travel". What does it mean.
3) My COPR form has my husband's and daughter's name on it, however my husband's COPR has only my name on it. Is that normal?

Friends please comment.

1)Contact New Delhi in person or wait you will get in 2-3 days.
2) It is written on COPR because visa is also in passport. Your have to travel with valid passport and visa. That's why it is written that you can't travel only behalf of COPR.
3) Coz you are primary applicant, so your COPR will carry names of all dependents and your husband's n daughter's will carry only primary applicant's name.

We have received our passports and are flying on 23rd May 2014. If someone could validate the following points, it will be a big help.
.
1) All we need to carry while travelling are our Passports, COPR forms, POF and of course air tickets.
2) For POF, Can we take partial amount in the form of Traveller's card (instead of traveller's check) and rest cash?
3)Amount for 3 is CAD 18097=10 Lac. Is that correct?

Those who have recently moved and those who are about to in the next few weeks, please help by clearing these points. I have no one to discuss and cross check except for our forum.

My med got expired on April 06, 2014 and I received request for re-medicals on April 08, 2014. They only sent me. I never requested them.
