Just heard back from the MP's office. They said application has been approved and that I should be getting letter for Passport request very soon. Now all we gotta do is wait for that 'soon'

Sounds great. Let's hope that they gonna start sending PPR's this week.

Decision made before I will wait for the passport request?july 11 when I got
In Process on my timeline but until now no news at all
I always check the timeline here and compare usually it took them
Almost 1-2 months and they get Decision Made but
For me on October 11 its been 3 months since it says
In Process on my timeline

So they are "processing" PPR... and DM too?


I have no idea why nobody has seen PPR in this forum.
Or I just answered myself..

we mostly only know that what's happening in this forum not every single applicants..

all I can say is that processing time from IP to DM is very much dependent on case by case.
there is no guarantee that you will have average processing time compared to others.

I even have seen a person has 2 weeks of processing time from IP to DM while I see more than 6months processing time.

I have no idea what's their standard/filter to process faster but again there is nothing we can do but to wait.

bottom line is waiting 3months is no problem at all..

Hi All,
I am also in the same boat and waiting. I have applied under SINP from within Canada with my wife (student category).

My federal application received on January 24, 2014
Medical request received on: February 25, 2014
Medical result received on April 4, 2014
Application starts processing on: July 21
Application status changed to decision made: August 21

However, I have not received any email regarding the decision. On May 15, my wife received a mail from centralized intake office whether we have submitted a list of documents. After receiving the mail, I paid the RPRF fee, but I did not receive any other mail asking for RPRF again. However, one of my friends did receive a separate request for RPRF. I mailed to CIO-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic.gc.ca that I did not receive the mail. They replied (after one month) that they forwarded my email address to an agent and will contact me 2-3 business days. I have not heard from them yet.

I was really worried, but got some hope reading the thread. Thanks all for sharing your information. It's waiting time ???.

You're assuming that 'soon' was based on specific information and not just a general standard response. I think there have been plenty of such 'soon' cases that had to wait for quite a while.

I know for sure that it was a general response, but now I know that CIC has put a temporary hold on processing applications, be it for IP, DM or PPR. Not that the quota is finished or some other reason. I am travelling on Oct 3rd, and I am definitely not waiting for the passport request anymore.

at least you have DM, people like me who has entered IP after "the temporary hold" are not even sure when we can get DM... :'(

Next PPR email will be sent on Oct 8 2014. I am guessing this one after checking October 2013 applicant thread who got decision made between May 16 to May 24 and PPR request after 2 months 8 days on July 24 2014.

I hope it will come true.
