Hi all,

my ECAS has not been updated since Feb, but my GCKey is.... I see other people's ECAS here getting updated even when medical is passed or received/passed.

Is it normal for ECAS not to pass? Mine has been at Decision Made / Application Received for like 4 months now.

I don't think there is a medical passed line on ecas, just gckey...

You're right, my #6 and #7 refer to medical. #6 - medical instruction. #7 - medical received.

I guess they are late in updating my ECAS?

But, you have medical passed just today? It will take a few days to update... some have waited as long as a couple months for that update, but generally within a week or two I think.

Notes just arrived, Eligibility and Criminality not started. File is with NDVO. The level of details in GCMS is mind-blowing, like the panel physician asked my spouse if they wanted to work in Canada. Whatever was answered is present in the file and reflected in GCMS

VFS in my husband's country is a nightmare. An absolute nightmare of people who just don't care about any kind of service standard and clearly do not have the language requirements required for simple responses. In any case, finally my husband has an appointment next Friday morning to drop off his passport and we are planning for a mid September (or so) flight.

I don't think there is much to update on ecas in general... but it will probably show up soon. It's all over the place and honestly, even for my husband it still shows eligibility, decision etc is under review in gckey. lol

Medical given: 14th May'21. The clinic has confirmed that they submitted the results on 15th May'21.

GCkey still says the 'Your action is required. Requested for a medical exam'.


Received GCMS notes today.

It could take up to 2 months for Medical to be updated in GCKey, Mine took about 40 days.
