Hi everyone, my timeline so far is:
Aplication sent: Dec 14th
Application received: Dec 17th
Waiting begins

Hi All,

There are two options to pay the fees for PR application. One of the option has open work permit fee included with the PR fees (Total $ 1,380.00).

Do we have to pay the open work permit fee separately? OR It's accepted to pay all together with one receipt? (PR + Work permit)

You should pay it separately since OWP goes separately from PR.

Hi,

We paid PR fees (1125) which included biometrics fee.

Now, I need to pay for open work permit and the guide mentioned about biometrics fee. Do we need to pay biometrics fee again for work permit?

Sent off our common-law application with OWP.

Sent: Dec 19
Arrival Estimated: Dec 23 (Monday)

OWP included,
OWP checklist (Confirmed with IRCC 2x that we should include a full checklist for OWP)
IMM 5710 Barcode page
IMM 5710
Use of representative form
Statutory declaration of common law union
Payment receipt
Passport photocopies
Current work permit photocopy

General layout,

PR Checklist
OWP Application in full
PR Barcode page
Forms as per PR checklist in order
Supporting docs for sponsor
Supporting docs for sponsored persons
Proof of relationship to sponsor

D we need to submit an original copy or a scanned copy also work with the spousal PR application.

Applied Inland with OWP
I paid all together and printed out 2 receipts one for the Sponsor App and one for the OWP
Application Sent: Dec 17th
Application Received: Dec 19th

Photocopy is likely fine. They didn't ask for originals explicitly. That said, we sent original for PR, and kept scanned copies for future reference in case we need it.

You could always call IRCC and confirm :)
