Really worried about my application now , as my employer don't provide Reference letter so instead of that i provided supporting docs and detail explanation letter :'( :'( :'( :'(

I don't understand why some employers do not provide the reference letter. It takes only a few minutes, and you are or were one of their employees. Are they afraid that supporting their employee may cost them some money or something?

Actually people who are working on Closed work permits ,their employers think them as their slaves so they know if you get PR ..they may lose slaves...and its not with just small companies ...some so called big companies do too..

Received PPR today from my lawyer. Below are my timelines


App Received: 16th Dec
AOR Received: 05th Feb
MR Received: 02nd July
Bio Data and RPRF Request: 02nd July
Fees Paid: 02nd July
MR Done: 03rd July.
MR result uploaded: 09th July
ECAS Status changed on 12th July to "Medical results have been received"
ECAS Status changed on 22nd July to "Decision made"
PPR 25th July

Actually people who are working on Closed work permits ,their employers think them as their slaves so they know if you get PR ..they may lose slaves...and its not with just small companies ...some so called big companies do too..

They will lose you if you don't get PR also...

100% correct brother , but their so called legal dept don't permit them to issue letter (as input got from my manager)

In my case it is not closed work permit (I mean it is associated with my employer ) BUT you are correct , they always think if They will provide Ref letter , one slave will slip

Why did CIC asked you for an updated employment reference letter? Did you submitted backdate employment letter with your application?

No back date. It just wasnt clear from the letter that I was working as contractor with the client.

nolthing to worry buddy. they will ask if they need information. I was in same situation but they asked for more info yesterday. so hang on tight buddy. there are many people who have submitted before you and are wiaitng ...yours is nothing close to a cocern at this poiint

Don't worry. I am here from December 20. Till July waiting was fine. But this month is so stressful.
