I called CIC call center and took the email ID of CPC-O. Sent an email to them asking why I havent recd MR yet.
My timeline
App rcd by CIC - Dec 6th
AOR - Jan 24

Lets see what they come back with.I will keep you all posted

I just noticed that you are NOC 2174. So I can put another theory forward then ;D.

Even I was thinking the same. I had applied under 2174 and december 9 applicant but no response on MR yet. Hopefully by next week we should have some clarity.

I guess it is no where related to NOC codes. If you look into excel sheet, it seems to be more no of people applied under NOC2174. Hence it is obvious, more people would wait for MR from 2174. Even people applied under 2174 on 17th got their MR, however people applied earlier with different NOC code didn't receive MR. Is it mean that people with NOC2174 getting their MR early??? Not at all... Only CIC know how they are doing, plus or minus two weeks is normal I guess.

there is a proverb in Tamil "arandavan kannukku irundathellam pei". the meaning is "For someone who is terrified, all dark will be a ghost". I think here that theory fits perfectly.

Hi everyone...

I received an e-mail last night requesting my Medicals to be done. Seems like things are moving.
Could anyone please tell me what the next step will be?
My application was received by cic on December 24. AOR Feb 15. MR Jul 3.

After you are done medical they will send request for landing fees and biodata. Then you wait for PPR

First of all Congrats for your MR
Frankly speaking you can get PPR mail in 2-3 weeks after medical result uploaded BUT You can't take it as granted as some people get PPR after 2-3 month from MR upload
But be positive and Good Luck

I have a missed call as shown "Private Number" on June 30th.
I assume this call was from CIC as I read through posts here. I haven't received any follow-up email or mail from CIC. What should I do in this case?
I feel so nervous because I never thought I'd get a call from CIC and miss it.

This is my timeline following:

Application sent: 9 December 2013
Application Received: 13 December 2013
AOR Date: 3 Feb 2014
Visa Office: CPC - Ottawa

First of all, cool. Don't get panic. Why should you get worried. Call from private no is not necessarily to be from CIC. Even if it is from CIC, it doesn't matter. They know the fact that some time we can't pick up the call. Many people from december still waiting for PR. So you are not alone and if CIC wants some clarification they'll call you again or email you. They wont reject because you didn't answer the call.
